Once Upon A Child – Winston-Salem

I have shopped at Once Upon A Child in the past (in NY), but this was my first visit at this location.
I tried selling a big bag of stuff and I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed in how little they bought from me. They didn’t even disclose why they passed on my items. These clothes weren’t stained or anything. I got a whopping $ 20.
I did buy a few items here. Their prices are slightly high but since they are so –ahem– picky… on what they purchase from people, their merchandise is usually spotless and higher quality. For example, I got a pair of little black/​pink baby Puma sneakers for $ 4.50, 12mo Baby Gap yellow skinny jeans for $ 5.50 and 12mo Jordash skinny jeans for $ 2.50!
The staff weren’t the most friendly I’ve encountered. I would have expected nicer service especially for the business having a «Jesus fish» on their business card. One girl in particular seemed pretty rude, snapping at me, «IS YOUR NAME ON THE BOARD???» when I asked about how much $ I was being offered (from selling items). I only asked because I WANTED TO SHOP WITH THAT MONEY and needed to know what I was getting to spend. I nearly said screw it, and took my items back and left without buying anything.
I might be back. To buy items. Not sure if I would sell anything again. Might get more money from a consignment shop.
