History

Established in 1991.

L.A. Reynolds was founded in the early 1900’s by Lamb Archibald Reynolds. Throughout the mid-1900’s L.A. Reynolds Company was involved in building of roads and interstate highways. By necessity, it also became a nursery to landscape theses newly built roads. In the late 1960’s and 1970’s L.A. Reynolds Company opened up several small garden shops to sell their nursery items.

During the 1980’s the company transformed mainly from a landscaping company into a small garden center. In 1991 the Long family bought L.A. Reynolds. The facility has undergone major renovations and utilized the vision of Jerry Long to propel the company to be one of the leading garden centers in the Southeast. Ken Long is the current owner and president L.A. Reynolds Garden Showcase, a family run, local business.
