FUR Pet Salon and Day Spa

The ladies at Fur are amazing! I have been taking my dog here for a year and they take such good care of him while he is there. You can tell that they love dogs and take pride in their work. They also keep on file how he was trimmed which makes it easy for me to tell them if I’d like him groomed the same way as last time, or a little shorter, etc. They also clean his teeth and trim his nails and he comes home smelling amazing! You can’t find better groomers for the price.

I and my dogs really appreciate the opportunity to meet the ladies of Fur Inc. They were very kind and loving to my dogs, both Chihuahuas and one of them very fearful. She didn’t even seem to be afraid at Fur Inc. All the girls just doted on her and my other little one making them not only beautiful but comfortable. Their prices are quite reasonable and we will be returning in the near future for doggy Spa Days! Thanks Ladies!

The ladies were awesome! I’m new to this area and had been having a hard time finding a groomer who would do what I wanted to have done. They did a great job on my two babies and got them done earlier than expected. I will be going back! Thanks Fur Pet Salon.

Loved it! These ladies are so great. We are absolutely thrilled with both of our pups new haircuts. They loved their spa day at Fur. I first saw it driving by and thought it looked super cute. I (of course) went on Unilocal and checked out their website and liked their prices. From the get go they seemed to really care about what they do in dog grooming and through and through they delivered. We won’t be going anywhere else in Winston for our babies’ future grooming needs. They include teeth cleaning in the grooming services as well as nail painting (how cute). For the wonderful price of $ 105 we had two beautiful spaniels who felt and looked like new dogs. Don’t skip this salon if you have a pup in need of lovely grooming!

Took my Boston terrier there. She just needed a bath and nail trim – not a breed that is hard to groom. She was clean and smelled good when I picked her up but they charged me $ 30! And her nails had hardly been touched. I’ve been doing her nails since she was a puppy, never an issue. I had to do her nails myself as they left her nails very long. My dog started Unilocaling and trying to get away, has never acted like this before. Will never take her back there, they do not seem to know what they are doing.

I cannot compliment this business enough! They really took exceptional care of my Newfoundland! He was matted because I wasn’t brushing him properly, they patiently showed me the proper way to brush him and got him on a care plan. You can tell immediately that they really care about your animals and that they are safe here. I really felt safe leaving him here which as he is my service dog and I depend on him this is saying so much.

Finally found the best groomer been looking for one since I moved to winston salem my baby Dutch loves his haircut they treated him like a king 10 stars for fur pet salon they are kind and love what they do

I have been taking my Goldendoodle to Fur since they opened — not only are they friendly and easy to work with, they actually LISTEN to me when I tell them how to cut my dog! Seems like an easy thing, but my dog has had MANY bad haircuts from groomers who just went rogue and cut her however they felt like. Fur takes the time to listen to me and my dog leaves happy and looking cute with a good haircut. Love this place!

Absolutely fantastic job with my dogs skully (sheltie) and tucker (beagle/​coonhound mix). The both look great and smell wonderful. their pictures are above. And it was way cheaper than Petsmart. They smell so nice, much better than the baby oil smell from the other groomers I have been to. They squeezed me in on a busy day with only one days notice and had them out in 3 hours so that I could still get to work on time. The ladies there were wonderful and so sweet to my babies. I will absolutely be going back soon!!!

We have taken our dog (a golden) and myfiancé’s mom’s dog here (a labradoodle) and they do a fabulous job with both! Have taken them a few places in town before finding Fur and have never been impressed. My boss, who has 4 dogs, recommended the place since she takes their dogs to the groomers’s parents salon in pfafftown (who apparently also do an awesome job).
They provide really cool services with prices are very reasonable, especially with the quality of work and products they use. They even offer an Epsom salt soak, which we purchased for our dog with arthritis, which I would highly recommend. My fiancé’s mom lives in Charlotte, insists on driving in to Winston to visit Fur. That’s how good this place is!

I will be returning for sure! My Layla is kind of a nervous wreck around any new people so I was a bit concerned about how she would do at a full grooming session.
When I walked in the place was beautiful, they really thought it all out. It truly is a pet spa. The ladies were very nice and when I told them about Layla being nervous they said it wouldn’t be a problem and at least she wasn’t shaking. I’m sure some people’s pets like people but just really hate the groomers. I dropped her off around 9:30 and picked her up around noon. I told them I just wanted her hair short and they could use their discretion with how much since I had no idea.
They told me Layla did great, although who knows if she actually growled at them the whole time or not. She looked sooo cute, I mean like I died every time i looked at her cute. You can see my photo for reference. She also smelled really good and still does!
Layla and I will be back for sure. I might even opt for one of their fancy spa add-​ons, like a conditioning treatment to see if I notice a difference in her itching.
