Our expertise is grounded in military and government public affairs. With more than 16 years experience working with government organizations from the military to embassy’s, we know the lingo, the audience and how to operate in their world.
History
Established in 2012.
Define Standard Communications was founded by Christina Dion. Christina Dion has been a Public Affairs Specialist in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves since 1996. A skilled combat veteran, she’s worked in many different situations which taught her the importance of maintaining the standard, but also to be flexible to fit different scenarios. Hence the name: Define Standard. The definition of what is the standard can change rapidly based on individual needs, current situations and desired outcomes. DSC is based on the belief that customers’ needs are of the utmost importance. Whether you need Media Relations, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications Plans or simply need help with a company newsletter, DSC is here for you.
Being a small business, they understand the desire for quality work and strong relationships, while being realistic about reducing overhead. Not all businesses can realistically have their own communications department, so that is why DSC is here.
