These guys do good work, quickly, and honestly for a reasonable price. They go out of their way to make sure you understand what’s happening with your car. They even took me back into the shop when I came to pick up my van and showed me the broken parts they replaced. Highly recommended.

Nicest people I’ve ever met in the auto repair business! Brought my car in for some questionable noises and they were kind enough to sit down and show me diagrams and explain the inner workings of my car and what exactly was broken and needed replacing and why. I have never received such personalized assistance when getting my car fixed before. Shows how much they truly care for their clients and not just out to make a buck. Sadly my car died and I had to buy a new one so hopefully I won’t be needing their services for a while; but HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them if your car needs some fixing! They even offer to drive you to the mall or home or work if needed while your car’s being fixed.

I recently had a problem with the windshield wipers in a 1995 Toyota Land-​cruiser that is my pride and joy… I love that old truck (but I digress…)
I do not have a regular auto repair mechanic so I googled auto repair in Winston-​salem and discovered Carolina Mobile Auto Service.
I called and spoke to the owner, Bob, I think was his name. Very nice guy on the phone and asked me to bring it in. I dropped off my Land-​cruiser at his shop on Stratford Rd for an oil /​filter change, DMV inspection and the have a look at the intermittent windshield wiper problem.
Bob called me mid-​day to advise me that he couldn’t find a problem with the wipers. he told me all that he had done to trace the source of the problem and I was impressed, but that it must have sorted itself out when reinserting the fuse. He only charged me ½ hr labor which was nice of him although he spent longer trying to identify the problem.
He changed the oil and filter and I have not had any problems since with the wipers.
I deducted 1 star because he did not do the dmv inspection which was something I had asked him to do. I didn’t realize that it hadn’t been done until I went to the DMV to renew my license plate and had a block on my tag for not having had the inspection done.
I should have caught it, but I had asked for the service to be done, and it wasn’t.
Otherwise, Bob and Carolina Mobile auto service did a nice job and I will return when the need arises.

I was very impressed with these guys. I spoke to Bob initially and he was very courteous friendly and helpful. I got my car back the same day. Kurt, their driver, even came out to pick me up and bring me to my car. Kurt was very friendly and engaging and made the trip very pleasant. The prices were reasonable, their work exceptional! I would definitely recommend them.

Took my car in for AC problems. This company was very friendly and honest and worked quickly for me. I will definitely return… But hopefully not soon!
