Bryan’s Service a Family Owned Auto Repair Facility since 1935 specializes in most makes and models of automobiles. Our technicians are ASE Certified and we offer a 24 month 24,000 mile warranty on all repairs. We cover all your automotive needs including oil changes, computer diagnostics (check engine lights) brake repair, new tire sales, steering repair, preventive maintenance including coolant flushes, transmission flushes, brake system flushes & fuel system cleaning. We also do heating & A/​C repair, batteries, exhaust, shocks, struts, belts, hoses, tune ups & lighting.

History

Established in 1935.

Bryan’s Service was started in May of 1935 by Bryan Cafferty Sr 5 miles west of Winsted, MN at Sherman Station. Bryan was a master at repairing anything from Model T’s to tractors and farm equipment and soon outgrew his one stall location. As his business and family grew he decided in 1954 to move to Winsted and purchase the building at 250 Main Avenue West where we are still located today.

Bryan owned the business until he sold it to his son Alan Cafferty in February 2006. Alan continues the family tradition of taking time to truly understand each clients needs and strives to achieve the highest level of customer service and quality repairs at a fair price.

Business Owner

Alan Cafferty has worked at Bryan’s Service since 1980 and became owner in February 2006. Along with his wife JoLynn they have raised 3 daughters and have 7 grandchildren. They live in Winsted and support the community through their charitable giving from programs initiated through the business.

Alan is involved in the Chamber of Commerce and donates time and money to many of the local charities including the Winsted Lions, Winsted Little League, Winsted American Legion, Juvenile Diabetes, Boy Scouts & Youth Church Groups.

In his free time Alan enjoys golf, gardening and spending quality time with his family.
