Good place to eat after seeing the crater. Service was good and we got a free cookie.

A Subway at Meteor Crater. They never had food 30 years ago. Service was slow but why get in a hurry this is a tourist place. Some of the employees have worked their all their life. Jobs are few and far between. The food was OK.

The fine dining at the Meteor Crater visitors’ center is a Subway. There is another Subway at the same address, in the trailer park.
When you’re out in the middle of the desert, you aren’t looking for a linen table-​service restaurant, anyway. We watched as one tourist after another ordered a 12″ sandwich. Not living up to the term «fast food,» very well, the counter service lost a few potential customers who balked at the wait.
Three of us ordered a 6″ turkey sandwich, a turkey wrap, a 6″ BMT, and three small soft drinks. With one cookie we paid for, and two more that were complimentary with our order at the crater, we ate for a total of $ 18.10.
