I love this place. The staff is amazing and everything is fresh, wholesome and beautiful. Fab pumpkin bars and I’m not even a pumpkin pie gal.

I really enjoy this place. Great menu, excellent smoothies, and terrific options for salads and soups. However, there are some areas for improvement. Some workers are wonderful – customer-​oriented, efficient, friendly. Other workers seem preoccupied, not friendly and very slow. One thing that needs to change is how workers use their gloved hands to open the refrigerators, and then proceed to stick the same gloved hand into the veggie bins. Yuck. All they need to do is gather the smoothie ingredients first, then put on glove to grab the fruits and veggies. With a little tweaking, this place will be 5 stars!

Owner was very helpful i had not been back since they opened. Prices are fair and selection and quality are excellent.

I tried True Juice for the first time last week. The whole green juice/​cleanse don’t really appeal to me, but I decided to try it as a afternoon snack. I picked up a single bottle of «Dwyers Gold» in the small fridge. This juice tasted so pure and fresh! As I mentioned, I am not a huge fan of green juices/​smoothies, but I have rarely had one that was so good. I was thrilled. I also got their pumpkin brownie. Judging by the listed ingredients on the wrapper, it seemed guilt-​free! This brownie was too good to be true; I couldn’t believe how tasty it was! High recommend this pumpkin brownie, it’s a must! The ONLY complaint and reason why I am giving is because it is a bit pricey. I realize that organic juices like these usually tend to be higher priced, but if you are planning to regularly buy these, it is going to cost you. Other than that, True Juice is a great place! I also want to say the shop is gorgeous; all white décor. Also, not a speck of dust anywhere! It is so clean! Would love to come back. The NorthShore is lucky to have True Juice!

I have been here a few times and think the smoothies are delicious but I have 2 issues.
1) the price is high as has been said in every other review. But I kind of get it because I’ve made my own juice and the cost of equipment and organic fresh produce (not to mention the time it makes to prepare) is really high so i guess maybe that is why?
2) Please post calories for the items! For those of us who log that stuff (im sure im not the only one…) its important to know. And its not hard to do if you know the recipe. I do it all the time– enter ingredients into something like myfitnesspal and it spits out calorie info in no time.

I wish I could afford to go here every day, my only complaint is the high price.
Otherwise the juice and waters are amazing. I like the glass bottles that they use. They have a water with cyan pepper that I love. I always feel great after having a beverage here!

This place is AMAZING! Every one of the cold pressed juices I’ve tried is out of this WORLD. I’ve had several greens & citrus juices, the almond milk (seriously? Who needs desert?) & some concentrated shots. Salads here are incredible too, best kale salad I’ve ever had. I’m not a big kale fan, I more so eat it to be healthy, so to find one I actually love, has me beside myself. I love the cozy & cheery vibe here too! I know there’s been some complaints about pricing, but you’ve got to consider the AMOUNT of produce that goes into these juices! And it’s organic produce! They don’t use any added water or sugars, so you’re getting 100% what you’re paying for. I think it’s completely worth it. My only problem with True Juice is I wish I lived closer :(

I am shocked at how rudely I was just treated here. I love the food here, although it is expensive. Last time I was here I got something I liked and asked if they have it. She said she has to check in the back but proceeded to ring me up. I asked if she should check in the back first because what if I was going to buy it? That seems logical. She was flustered and said someone else should be here to check these things and it would take too much time. Really? There was one other person in here. I would have gladly waited until the other person ordered. Then she didn’t even give me a bag for my purchases so I had to ask which seemed liked a huge inconvenience. Very disappointing. You need to go out of your way for customers. That is why you’re in business.

True Juice is starting to make my Starbucks latte addiction seem affordable. I’ve never really understood the whole juice cleanse thing. Days without food? No thank you. However, I“m all about juicing for a late afternoon snack.
During my frequent visits to True Juice over the past few weeks I’ve tried a variety of their cold press juices. I’ve yet to have one I didn’t love, but Fountain of Youth is probably my favorite. And I look at least years younger ever since drinking it. Ha– I wish.
They also have some healthy food options for others who don’t want to drink their meals. I’ve tried their avocado stuffed tuna, which was really good (and I“m picky about my tuna). There are a few other salads I’d like to try next time.
The tasty juice itself is worth 5 stars, but as many other Unilocalers have mentioned the price is a bit absurd. Even the guy who sold me my juice the other day mentioned he thought the price was ridiculous. If you bring back your bottles they’ll give you $.50 off your next order (whoopdeedoo– note the sarcasm). The juice bar I frequent in SF gives $ 2 off your next order for the same bottles.
I’ll continue to stop in a few times a week for juice and other food (just like I’ve been shelling out the dough for my beloved Starbucks lattes for many years now), but may even become a daily customer if they reconsider their pricing.

Juices I had were good but damn; they’re charging like it’s pappy van winkle 23. 2 bottles from the cooler and a made to order juice (better than the bottled) was north of $ 32. Staff is friendly and on point, good location for biking to just not every day.

Delicious tasting juices but holy moly is it expensive. One juice and one smoothie, both off the menu cost me just under $ 20. I love love love green juice but that’s just not something that is affordable on a regular basis. I do wish that they would show you the prices on the menu but I have a feeling it would scare people off. And once you try the product and taste how delicious it is I’m sure many people get hooked. Luckily I was just visiting because it would be a war in my head about going or not going, solely based on price.

I probably won’t give any new information here. But here it goes anyway.
Everything is really fresh. I had a prepared salad and a «Workout» smoothie. Delicious. Just kind of expensive. $ 20 spent quickly.
People with expendable income don’t blink at the prices, but I had a gift certificate. Park on Elm because Chestnut is a one way and you have to drive around the block to access the street.

Everything is fresh and natural. Which is Great!

So happy to have True Juice in the neighborhood. Juices, smoothies and food items are 100% delicious and fresh. Service is impeccable and patient — they will sample varieties of juices and recommend a selection based on how you are feeling or what your taste preference is. I’ve tried several of the smoothies and juices and there wasn’t a bad one in the bunch. I’m typically not a fan of the «green» juice — blue print’s version is vile but I was pleasantly surprised here. I honestly don’t know how whole foods gets away with selling that stuff for $ 10 a bottle. It is just not good in comparison.
Kudos to true juice for offering kids size smoothies in kid friendly flavors — love the clever names too.
I came in on a Sunday feeling under the weather and tried a shot of ginger (came back the next day for another) and somehow didn’t get full blown sick. May be a coincidence but I’m hooked. The soup hits the spot if you are not up for a smoothie. Butternut squash was delicious and filing. I’ve tried the kale and quinoa chicken salads — both very good. Only downfall I noticed is the supplements are a tad overpriced but they do offer raw coconut oil and other types of vitamins if you are in a pinch. Nice to have that option!

This place is hardcore. Organic. No GMOs. They have cleanses, food to go, and juice to go in the coolest containers ever — love the packaging. I’m not a health nut (though it couldn’t hurt) and I’m allergic to concentrated soy, so I tend to shy away from places that serve juices and smoothies with special powders. But after coming here for a fruit smoothie (easing my way in), I have to admit I’m hooked and can’t wait to go back for something a little more daring (for me)…fruits mixed with veggies!
The Lake Effect Smoothie was $ 7 and fruity delicious. My hubby and I split it. Honestly, I’m not so sure I could have made it through a whole smoothie. I felt better after the first few sips: Blackberries, bananas, organic Kefir yogurt, and a touch of agave – sweet! It was a little too thick at first to sip through the straw, but that’s because it was packed with real fruit goodness. I love blackberries, so this was a special treat.
The Cold Press Juice names alone are so enticing you’ll want to try them all. Here’s just a small sample:

This place is bright and cheery on the inside and welcoming from the start with great customer service.
Did I mention they have kiddie smoothies too? Named Katy Berry… cute!

Get the almond milk! It’s like i died and went to nutmilk heaven. The place is super clean and the juices are deliciously served in glass bottles. The owner, Jonahdab, is a chef and is very knowledgable about juicing. They have samples if you’re not sure what to order. And they actually peel their fruits and veggies, unlike «Peeled» in Evanston. This is an exemplary juice bar, so I give it an A+. We will be going there every sunday after church.

This place does it right! Real cold-​pressed juices. Tons of recipes. Served in glass! Ask for jona, he’ll explain it all. They offer real cleanses and charge the same as all the lower quality places. Pre-​made salads and parfaits. … I hate when the juice tastes «earthy» None of that here! They actuallly peel their fruits… will be going every Sunday hopefully :-)

This is my new destination of choice when I want a true feel good smoothie (or recovering from a HO) LOL? This is no Jamba Juice. It’s real ingredients, organic, prepared by knowledgeable (shall I say?) baristas, One day it was Banana Strawberry smoothie, –all organic (you know high the pesticide count is in Strawberries). No sugar added, no syrups, etc. Wife had a fennel, kale, apple and carrot juice. Not my cup of tea, but I tried it and it wasn’t bad. They have salads and sandwiches as well. The key to me? All organic. Forgot to mention, –had a Turkey, Bacon wrap with Avocado, Sprouts and a Goji Chutney! OMG!
