Marian Michael is the North Shore’s premier classic apparel shop. For over 75 years we have been the first choice for countless families on Chicago’s North Shore. Our customers return for the combination of prestigious lines such as Florence Eiseman, Sara Louise, KC Parker, Mon Cheri and Johnnie-​O plus the warm, friendly greeting and knowledge only a family run business will provide. We sell Bridesmaids Dresses, Graduation Dresses, formal dresses, and prom dresses. We rent tuxedos for all ages starting as young as 1 and have a special graduation tux rental for only $ 109 including shoes. We offer after hours private shopping by appointment.

Originally located on Lincoln Street in Winnetka the store was moved to it’s current location on Chestnut Street in the Laundry Mall in 2011. With a larger store and new owners the store has expanded and now offers clothes for men and women. Don’t miss our annual graduation dress trunk show.

Jennifer P.

Business Owner

Jennifer and Richard Paden are the new owners of Marian Michael. Jennifer was born and raised on the North Shore and was a buyer for a department store while in college in Des Moines, IA. Richard is a former SVP of HSBC and was responsible for over 50 private label credit card programs with national retailers. He is leveraging his experience to help increase awarness and increase sales in the store’s new location.
