Head To Tail Grooming

I’ve taken my little man there for about a year and this past time, the groomer CUT him with his clippers, I had to take him to his vet and get antibiotics. The owner of Head to tail, blamed it on my baby and said he moved. He is 12 years old and never moves, sad that she wants to blame him and not the groomer also This just leads me to believe she didn’t really care. Even when I told her what the Vet said. I would NOT recommend this place.

Love this place. They always do a great job on my little Ginger, she always looks so cute after getting groomed. I love the cute little handkerchief’s they put on her when I pick her up, they always go with the season or holiday.

We had gone thru many groomers in the Valley until we found this place– i love them! Great customer service, very professional, friendly, clean, and organized. Snow is okay in this place, and thats a beautiful sign that I will be a lotal customer.

Sky been going there for two years it’s a great place they’re very friendly good with dogs and clean. They love sky and the groom him and clean him very well I love all the workers there that are very nice to my dog and sky always comes home happy. I recommend this place for anyone with big dogs for small dogs the great people and very nice

After having a terrible experience at petsmart. (One animal tramatized and not groomed and the other with injuries.) I called Head to Tail late on Saturday and they were able to get me in on Monday. They worked with my dog and she trusted them. She came out looking great! Wonderful customer service and fantastic haircut! Learned from my mistake and will continue to bring my dogs to Head to Tail!

I love this place. I bring both my dogs Daisy and Ziggy every 6 – 8 weeks and I’ve never had a problem. My dogs are always happy and clean when I pick them up.
I loved that I am always called before they do anything that I might not want… For example by cocker spaniel was a little more matted then normal and I was called and asked if it was okay to shave her down. Therefore, there are never any surprises when I arrive.
They always finish in a timely matter and to be quiet honest the prices are affordable as well. Another place I was going to would charge almost a $ 100 for grooming my little 10 lb shih tzu (that’s another review for another day).
Bottom line is my husband and I are very happy with the service. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Definitely worth the 5 stars!

Love head to Tail… they always take care of our dog Oreo. They do a Great Job and are very Friendly. I highly recommend their pet services to anyone looking for grooming and pet care… love these guys!

I loved my groomer but she only worked part time so it was getting too difficult to make appointments. The mother of a friend said that her daughter used Head to Tail Grooming so I thought I’d drop by and see what the place was like. I walked through the door and Jennifer greeted me with a big smile. After chatting for a few minutes I booked an appointment for the next day. Shiloh had missed his grooming date by 3 or 4 weeks so he was looking like a miniature shaggy dog. He’s a mix of cocker, poodle and beagle. I told Jennifer what I’d been paying and she gave me a price of $ 5 less plus I had a $ 5 off for new customers coupon so I was really happy about the price. They also have a wheel that you can spin to get a discount. You can’t get a better deal anywhere! They called me 2 hours later to say Shi was ready and to ask me how I wanted his tail and face trimmed. I’d never been asked that before so I was really surprised. She apologized for not asking me when I brought him in. I told her to leave a little hair on his tail and just make him look cute. That was the right answer because he looks cuter then he ever has before!!! I couldn’t believe it was Shiloh when I picked him up. His hair was smooth and shiny and his feet were trimmed better then they had ever been before plus his tail, ears and little puppy face were perfect! I am so happy and he is, too! And he smells so good! I will be having him groomed there from now on. Take my advice and ignore the few bad reviews. This place is fantastic!!! Give them a try and you won’t be sorry ~

We love this place! Stephanie is great and very patient with our nervous rescue and old cat. They are very attentive, kind, and fast. I was even allowed to stay in the back and «assist» with our elderly kittie on her first lion cut. We have been taking our pets there for over a year and have always been very satisfied! I’d highly recommend Head to Tail!

For a while I was only bringing my grandmothers elderly poodle (SCOOTER), who was toothless. He is temperamental, but they were always great, and sweet with him. The dog was a kind soul, but always looked so disgusting. (Because he had no teeth, and was blind, his coat looked a wreck, always, drooling and eating with no teeth, his tongue would hang out all day) This poodle did not age gracefully. But he was my grandmothers heart and soul-​they always took him in with open arms every month, and it quickly became a regular habit of ours. I also have 4 dogs of my own. (dachshund, Two German Shepherds, and a Rottweiler.) Took all the big dogs to her, and they took them all at once with open arms. Which is madness, because they all just wanna play, and and rough house with one another. My Rottie is a puppy (150 pound puppy) we rescued from west valley a year ago. He is not crate trained. Still Stephanie took him with open arms, and made it happen.
I once took my dachshund in to get her nails trimmed, and the dachshund, being a typical weenie dog wanted nothing to do with getting her nails trimmed. She shit and pissed all over the place, literally Stephanie was able to wrangle a few nails and get them chopped while I held her. The scene should have been on worlds worst dogs incidents. Stephanie just smiled and finished up, and grabbed the mop. My dog shit and pissed on her floor and her, and Stephanie was still so pleasant. Thats customer service.
They always do a great job! Dogs are happy, smell great, nails trimmed, and glistening coats. My grandmother has 4 cats, going to take them in today, and see if Steph will try to trim their nails.
Bottom lines, dogs (and cats) are unpredictable, You can think you know your pet, and when it gets into a new situation (LIKE THE VET OF THE GROOMERS) they can get all Kanye West on you (I know from TONS of experience). Stephanie and the team at Head to Toe are confident pack leaders. i highly recommend you bring your bae in to them. Don’t be nervous if its your first time, or if you are looking for someone more local, or just want to support a great small business.

Great place and friendly staff ! They took care of buddy and came back looking fresh and happy. He smells really nice and no grooming scars so that’s a good sign also. If u wanna get a great haircut for your dog bring them here.

Suprised that this place has such high reviews! I have a very small Pomeranian, which they took as a walk in (no appointment) one day for grooming. I told them to do a strip, which means shave the hair of all over. I have had this boy shaved 4 times before, at other places, without a problem. This place ruined his coat for life! It’s been 4 months, and his coat has hardly grown back at all. The places it has grown back, it is all uneven, he even looks like he has a mohawk down the middle of his back! They obviously ruined his hair cuticle, which when damaged causes little, and uneven hair growth. So mad! Will never ever go back! Thanks Head to Tail for ruining my boy’s nice coat for life!: (

I love this place !!! Took my two puppies they loved it too. Near my home. Little pricey but awesome job. I love that they right down exactly how you want your dog hair cut. Receptionist very friendly kind and very loving to the doggies. Parking was okay. Place was clean and smelled clean. Water bowls in the waiting area for the animals. She gave me a discount for new costumer !! I hope i can get coupons because I love it there

I have been to several doggy groomers over past couple of years and this by far was the worse one. When I asked if I can get my dog washed without an appointment the lady looked at my dog and said «we can throw it in the tub real quick». When I got him home I noticed some of his nails weren’t trimmed and he smelled like a wet carpet (not soapy). I was charged full price for everything including «teeth cleaning».

I took my dogs here to get groomed and based off of where I live and other Unilocal reviews, I decided to come here rather than another groomer really close by.
This place was walking distance from my apartment so my dogs got some exercise and a bathroom stop before getting groomed. There isn’t a grassy area or anything outside for a dog to relieve themselves but hey, that’s why we walked there. Anywho, the receptionist was super nice and when I called to make an appointment, they asked that I bring a copy of their shots (totally understandable). I filled out some paper work and showed them pictures of how I wanted their hair cut and I love it when places like this double check to make sure my number is correct because I’ve gone to places where they never called me and I had to call them to see if my dogs were done. After a few hours, they called me to let me know my dogs were done and I walked over to get them. They did a really good job, followed the pictures that I showed them, and I span a wheel for a discount on our next visit– SWEET!!!
Definitely recommend this place!!!

I had a great experience and will definitely be a regular. This was my first visit and our April looks great, she walked out with a spring in her step. I was even given a coupon for $ 10 off at the counter. Great job Head to Tail.

This place is fantastic! I am a big fan of supporting local businesses, so when I moved to the west SFV I was really hoping to find a groomer I loved as much as the one in our old neighborhood. The pricing on their full groom is very reasonable. More importantly they, do a wonderful job with my baby (the sweetest shih tzu in the world!).
I have walked out of groomers before because my very friendly pup would drag his feet going in, but he happily walks right into Head to Tail. The ladies who work here are very sweet (both to me and my dog!) and accommodating. Excellent customer service!

Took my maltipoo timmy for a much needed groom and they were wonderful from beginning to end! Right next door to the pet vet where timmy got his shots on our first visit. So happy to have found both places.

From the moment I walked in, the lady was super nice, answered my questions and happy to fit my dog in on a busy Saturday morning. (I even got a discount) Awesome! Which I had an appointment at LE GROOMER (right across the street) which I will not go back to. I think I found the perfect place for my doggie! The Groomers did an excellent wash/​cut and they told me it would take 3 – 4 hours. His cut was adorable. She followed my instructions to leave Bentley’s hair short (Lion Cut) and to cut everything else.
Perks: Alots of parking, Spin the wheel (get discount), give you your next appointment same day you pick up!

I took my dog to get a bath and cut. They cut her exactly the way I asked them.
The location looks very clean an the staff is very nice and friendly.
