A to Z Chiropractic

I’ve been going to their Crystal Lake office since August 2015, after suffering a bad back injury during an obstacle run. I see Dr. Z and Abby, their massage therapist. Right away, Dr. Z was more concerned about me getting the treatment I needed than billing insurance, etc. We all know chiropractors are not cheap, but he is willing to work with you to get you the treatment you need. What I like about this office is there is no «upsell.» I’ve never seen another chiropractor for treatment personally, but I’ve been in offices where they push vitamins and all kinds of holistic theories on you. I grew up with barefoot hippie parents, so I already KNOW all this…(sigh) Dr. Z is knowledgeable about sport fitness, and I’m a gym rat, so it’s nice to talk to a doctor as a peer instead of being talked at. Abby is super sweet and an amazing masseuse. She’ll ask you what areas you want to focus on and really gets those knots out. Really nice husband/​wife team with a friendly feel. This is my first and only chiropractor so I don’t have any comparison to make, but I’m getting better and I really like this office.

I live in Evanston Illinois and was frantically searching for a chiropractor because i tweaked my lower back weightlifting in the gym. I had a tough mudder competition coming up and i couldn’t seem to run without my lower back feeling like it was collapsing. i google mapped the nearest chiropractors and discovered this one because it had great reviews and their website seemed to be very modern and less boring than others, so i figured why not? after one appointment it immediately helped. he applied this stuff called «rock tape» and it worked wonders. recently i sprained my ankle playing basketball and i refuse to do anything but visit his office for treatments. my ankle was able to be walked on within three days. i’ll definitely keep every appointment with these guys

I had annoying, constant, mid back/​rib pain that seemed to be due to poor posture from sitting all day in class. Since the first visit, Dr. Zach knew exactly what to do to help decrease the frequency of discomfort I was having. Adjustments, and deep tissue work definitely helped alleviate most of the symptoms. After a few treatments he got me going on some back strength training exercises which I think really helped keep my back in better shape. Overall, Dr. Zach is a very knowledgeable chiropractor and would recommend him to anyone!

I was in town to watch Michigan beat Northwestern, looked up A to Z Chiropractic online and it was close to Ryan Field. Came in and was met by a friendly husband and wife who were very knowledgeable and informative. My shoulder and back problems which I’ve been nursing for months as well as not seeing any improvement from a Chiropractor in Seattle was quickly diagnosed and treated and I already feel a vast improvement. Professionalism was top notch and the quietly played blues music made the treatment very comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend this place to anyone… now if only I didn’t live halfway across the country.
