St Gabriel’s Church & Rectory

I’m not a church member, and I’ve only set foot in St. Gabriel’s twice to donate blood at a Red Cross Blood Drive.
On both occasions, I was stunned at the generous amount of food offered by the church (hand made by their members) that they provide for the blood donors.
Tonight, after I donated my 31^st pint, there was a Butternut Squash Soup and a really great cup of chili offered. I’m telling you, the chili was excellent– three kinds of beans, corn, and a pretty zippy tomato base. And it was served hot too!
But wait there’s more! Four kinds of sandwiches served on four types of bread with cheese, lettuce and tomato. It was like ordering at a diner!
God bless these generous folks for recognizing the blood donors.

It’s kind of hard to rate a church but this ones my favorite. It’s really beautiful inside and the stained glass is fantastic in the morning behind the altar. There’s five large Stained glass windows with Jesus in the center. Very spiritual. I find the masses there to be very inspiring and I’ll be honest, I should go more often. Nice people, nice priests. It’s a very enjoyable experience to go there. The CCD program has been good for my kids and their private school is highly rated.
