My complex has Sparkling Pool Services and our entire summer at the pool has been a debacle. The lifeguards that we have on duty are disrespectful, apathetic and completely useless when it comes to any sort of pool maintenance, as stated in their responsibilities. Because they refuse to do their duties and ignore the pool rules, it is causing consternation among the residents. For example, because the lifeguards won’t enforce the rules, they let small children in the pool without swim diapers … we have had to shock our pool at least three times in the past month. Apparently, our Property Manager has tried to address these issues with executive management. I am not sure if he got through or if Sparkling Pool Services just doesn’t care, but nothing has improved. I am praying that we don’t use them next year.

If I could give zero stars for this vendor, I would. I’ve been in property management for nearly 10 years. I manage five communities in Delaware and Pennsylvania. We used this company for pool management at one of my communities this season(2014). Unfortunately, it’s been issue after issue starting with them not having the pool open in time for Memorial Day weekend. Then they were only cleaning the pool twice a week when they were supposed to be cleaning it five times per week. We initially requested that the pool season run from the weekend prior to Memorial Day and until the weekend after Labor Day(9⁄7). I contacted them today to remind them that we requested a 9⁄7 closing and provided my initial written correspondence to that effect. The supervisors emailed me back that it would cost extra, though during our initial scope we required a closing of 9⁄7. They have been consistently unapologetic for all of their errors and I can’t understand why they don’t even try to please their customers. I will never use this company again and hopefully this review will save another property manager or association manager a large amount of hassle.
