Mike Stone Real Estate

Mike Stone is a friendly, hardworking and experienced Realtor that I highly recommend. As out of state home sellers, it was nerve racking to try and find a realtor and sell a property remotely. Mike responded to my initial email within 1 day with thorough, well thought out answers to long list of my questions that demonstrated his depth of knowledge and experience with real estate. After personally interviewing him and one other agent, we chose Mike, an independent real estate agent with a personal touch over someone from one of the big real estate firms (probably more worried about making their monthly quotas). Throughout the process Mike always made time for us; it seemed as if we were his only client, which I know isn’t true. I couldn’t have been happier with our decision!
Mike worked closely with our property manager to gain access to the home while our tenants still occupied the property, and again once the tenants vacated, to thoroughly inspect the home (with pictures) and gave us sound honest feedback about the property condition. He gave us great advice on which repairs and upgrades would give us the biggest return on our investment and what styles most buyers were looking for. He setup a lockbox for our vendors and checked in on the property periodically to see how things were progressing.
I was pretty hands on during the process, with lots of questions and Mike always made time to discuss strategies with me, where we could weigh the positives and negatives about some major decisions. Mike prepared a comprehensive «comparative market analysis» of our property, provided good insight into the real estate appraisal process and helped us come up with a list price that even in hind’s sight I’m not sure we could have picked any better. We received multiple offers and accepted one significantly above list price. The closing process was a breeze; Mike put all our documents into DocuSign and even caught errors introduced by the buyers agent! It’s true there is some luck in this process, but I’m confident that a lot had to do with the careful planning and insights from Mike. I give Mike my highest recommendation and hope you seriously consider giving him an opportunity to represent you.

Mike is an amazing realtor that anyone looking to buy or sell a house should definitely choose. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, dedicated, and hardworking. I was impressed by Mike the entire time… we had great conversations/​discussions, he took great pictures of our home and he had some great ideas! He helped us above and beyond what one might expect: he took care of the Koi pond until we could move in. Talk about full service! Every detail from making the offer to closing escrow was watched over by him for us, as we were buying from out of the area. Mike is an amazing real estate agent!!! We moved to Windsor from Washington state at a time when the housing market was very challenging as a buyer. Mike helped us find the perfect house and place an offer that was accepted. He was very knowledgeable about the market and was also helpful in connecting us with other local businesses to get the inspection done, repairs made, and even has given us recommendations on schools for our daughter. I just met Mike Stone yesterday. He was showing clients homes while I was at a brokers’ open house. I’m a lender and Mike’s attention to detail, knowledge of all aspects of real estate and sensitivity to his clients was pretty impressive and caught my attention. As he explained what they were looking at in the home, he discussed how permitting issues affect the different stakeholders in the home sale process, including nuances about the how appraisers look at unpermitted room conversions. I was pretty impressed. He knew all the details in and out. And he seemed to be a good listener. A home buyer would be in good hands with Mike.

Even after purchasing our home in February 2013 with the assistance of Mike, we still remain in contact with him. He provides suggestions/​recommendations as needed in regards to the property or any questions that I may have in general or even just to say «hello». There are not enough stars here to accurately rate Mike. He is AMAZING! I was on the market searching for a home with another realtor for 3 months with no luck. I had put offers on 8 properties and due to her inability to negotiate and represent me in the best light, I did not get accepted for a single one. After much frustration, I did some «realtor shopping» and luckily found Mike. Mike was always available and ready to show properities to me. I worked with him just one week and had already found the perfect home AND got my offer accepted. I am moving into my new home on Monday and Mike has been with me every step of the way. From finding inspectors, contractors, etc. He went above and beyond what I expected and appeared to be available ²⁴⁄₇. I recommend Mike highly. I did my share of shopping around and even worked with an inadequate person for 3 months, so have a good understanding of good vs. bad and Mike is TOP NOTCH. If you want a realtor that works for you, then you need to hire Mike. You will not be dissapointed.
