Great example of a small town family owned pizzeria in rural NY. Get your pizza, wings, hot and cold subs, soups, and other dishes. Not the flashiest or most updated venue. When you’re looking for a simple but satisfying bite with very friendly service this place can meet the need. Not sure of the hours, but they do accept credit cards.

Having gone here for many years, I think the quality has unfortunately gone down a little. A half sheet of pizza that used to be in a nice rectangle complete with ample toppings in a box that fit the pizza, a decade later, had turned into a large oval thrown into a round pizza box. We ordered extra cheese and mushrooms. I think they did put extra cheese on but definitely forgot the mushrooms :( I had been craving pasta and they told me on the phone they didn’t have ziti but had spaghetti. I agreed. After driving 20 minutes to get there they said they had no pasta except lasagna. I said ok fine… The lasagna was small and bland, I only ate half of it. I also got the sampler basket with curly fries, when I got there they said they forgot I wanted curly fries and made regular, but upon realizing the mistake made me curly fries as well. I thought great! Nope. the fries were completely burned(I wish I took a pic) and mixed in with the curly fries(unburned). I hate to give this place a negative review but I had to be honest. The chicken wings and pizza sauce are still good. I’d probably order again from here but next time I’ll try a full sheet pizza(only$ 3 more) and hopefully it will be put together better than the half sheet was. The mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders were good too.

The Pizza Shack has long been a part of Windsor. The pizza is fresh made and really tasty. The calzone are amazing and fresh baked. The staff rocks and the owner, Marian, is awesome.
