Joe Moore Painting & Roofing

I had a leak in my sun room roof and needed to get it assessed and fixed before the winter storms hit. After a two no shows and another roofer who told me I needed to replace to entire sun room roof for $ 4000, I called Joe Moore and made an appointment. Joe arrived on time and I showed him the where the leaks were coming from. He said that the tar and gravel roof was actually in serviceable condition, but that there were a few seams that were compromised where the roof met the skylights. He gave me ballpark bid to have his crew do the work ($ 700) and also said it was something I could do myself with a bit of instruction on the areas to address, technique and material to use. If my attempt didn’t work, he said that I could give him a call and that his crew would do it with about a week’s notice. He then walked around the rest of my house’s composite roof and suggested areas where I should clean and caulk to avoid leaks. net/​net — I did the patch myself and leaks are fixed! I definitely appreciate Joe because he wanted to work with me to solve the problem in the most effective, efficient way and not try and fleece me like others. Trust and service are important. I will definitely use Joe and recommend him to others!

Had a friend refer Joe to us when we discovered a leak in the living room. He came out right away and did a little patch job to get us through the winter. In the meantime, Joe did a little inspection and said the roof does need to be replaced. In winter of 2010 I noticed the gravel from the shingles was coming off the roof and more and more as winter 2011 was here.
In June of 2012 we got our new roof! His crew was amazing, efficient and very accommodating. Now our home is cooler because of the new venting system they do with the new roof tops, and our house looks great! They even clean up after themselves, no shingles lying around.
