History

Established in 2006.

Pastor Scott founded CCW when the Lord called him to leave Rocky Mountain Calvary in Colo Spgs in 2006. The church is a testimony to God’s grace; it started with just a couple of other families, but has been used to share the hope of Jesus Christ with thousands.

At 23 years old, no one had to tell me I was a sinner. Oh, I never would have used that word, but I knew I’d done bad things. But I didn’t know how to deal with it. Religion made no difference. Jesus was a joke to me.

When a friend invited me to Calvary Chapel, I honestly checked it out. The people were real — not the weak, fakey religious people I’d always mocked. And I discovered that Jesus was undeniably true. I couldn’t dismiss Him. And He had the power to change my life.
