We offer event planners, rentals, DJ service, Magicians, Comedians, Face Painters, Clowns, and much much more. We also offer Master of Ceremonies services, and hypnosis shows for larger scale events. History

Established in 2006.

Brooklyn Kid Magic was founded in San Diego, CA back in 2005 as an idea, then it became The Grand Magic Shop located in Escondido, CA. Which it ran and operated under for 3 years. After which The Brooklyn Kid AKA J.P. Scirica sold his business interests in and moved up to Northern California. Where he then began planning Brooklyn Kid Magic, Brooklyn Kid Magic was created to offer entertainment services for corporate companies, and non-​profit organizations to help with fund raising events. We also planned to have other event planning services since we are located in beautiful Sonoma County, and Wine Country. Not only do we have all the entertainment needed we also provide a full staff to work any event you have in the area. This was our intent from the beginning to create memorable nights of magical entertainment for you and your guest to talk about for years to come.

Business Owner

J.P. Scirica, The Brooklyn Kid, grew up on the East coast in Brooklyn, New York and moved to the Wine Country in Santa Rosa, California in the early 90’s. He grew up performing magic at the local magic shop, «The Mostly Magic Shop». He was mentored by several great magicians, including John E. King, owner of The Mostly Magic Shop, Ken Garr, a local Santa Rosa Magician/​Comedian and Bob Elliott, the head instructor of IBM Magic Camp in New York City and mentor to David Blaine and David Copperfield. The Kid has performed at private events, weddings, corporate events, tradeshows, A-​list celebrity parties, on national television, and cruise ships all over the world. The Kid has received noticeable mentions at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA, Children’s Hospital variety of cruise ships, and at A-​list celebrities events hosted by Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Tony Hawk, and many others. His signature style and finesse has been creating memorable experiences for audiences for over 13 years.
