I had floating bamboo floors installed in July. They were beautiful!
After 3 months, as it got colder they started separating as they were shrinking.
No one from «BOB» the installation help guy at customer service and the sales person ever mentioned (while I was shopping in the summer) that they will separate in the winter.
It cost me $ 500 to fix that and 3 months later after colder weather I have more separation.
Apparently they move, and require ongoing temperature of 65f to 75f They must have 30−35% humidity. I don’t want to worry about my floors shifting every time the temps and humidity change outside.
I talked to the customer service recently, sent them all their paper work and photos and never heard back from them.
DO NOT BUY BAMBOO from them. It is junk.
