Always have hip hop chicken in our group parties. All my friends request the chicken wings.

OMG the gizzards are sooo good. I moved in the area from florida and someone told me about this place foe good chicken. It was good not greasy or expensive. There food is deep fried and it is hard not to scratch your gums from the crunchyness. LOL yeah i said it!!! I asked them to not give me bring & of course they added it anyway. For the cooks you know they use dried red vinegar, cinnamon and brown sugar seasoning on their chicjen n fish. Good combo easy to make at home. .but of course we prefer someone else to make it.

I ordered a tray of 30 wings today and I have to say that I’ve never seen wings sooo small… every last one of them. Also, they did not add the seasoning. WTH!

Yass! My guilty pleasure. Whatever is in the sprinkle they use, is amazing. It’s recipe must be like: powdered heaven & granulated far fetched dreams plus a dash of euphoria. I have tried to figure out the sprinkle and I think I may have the recipe… but I can’t find where you’d buy powdered baby giggles. Look, you have to trust me on this… it would be just your average fried food joint if it wasn’t for that blasted sprinkle they put on everything. They won’t sell it because they know it’s powdered gold. If there every is a break-in and the only thing that happens to be taken is the all of the sprinkle stuff, the camera shows a person matching my description & my passport was just stamped showing me in Canada or Mexico. It wasn’t me! you heard it here first…

Oh how I enjoy coming here, quick and very good food. Well seasoned food. Its really fresh and cooked to order. I have had the catfish nuggets, shrimps, chicken and sides. It’s definitely my go to for fried foods. The parking is a little tight but it’s worth eating here.

Full of deep fried goodness. When you need some chicken for a party on the cheap this is a. The parking lot it’s terrible so be prepared. It’s pretty small and right off of liberty road. It’s gonna be tricky getting in and out. It help to call ahead and just run in to pick it up. I always get the chicken. The wings are small but the flavor is great. You can make it a meal and grab a order of fries and a drink. The sweet tea is goo but way to sweet for me. I usually have to dilute it with some water. When you are looking for quick easy and cheap this is the place.

Hip hop chicken has the best fried fish I have ever had. Not sure what they put in the batter but it is highly additive. The price is just right and you are sure to be full whatever you get. The shrimp are equally as delicious. I wish there was a hip hop chicken in Atlanta where I live.

Love this place! Amazing food and service! One thing I will say is that sometimes they do slack when it comes to the seasoning… the seasoning is what makes their food so good and unique and when they put only a few seasoning or forget it on their food… it is very noticeable

Let’s see… the wings seem to shrink every time I go… smaller, and smaller, and smaller… BUT, I love it! The chicken here is really good. The lemon pepper they put on all of their foods really brings out the flavor. The wings and catfish are my favorite. When they first opened the guys that worked there would talk to you and carry on a conversation, but now that they are so busy, it’s all business. Not much interaction with their customers. I really haven’t purchased their sides because I don’t like to be disappointed. If you want some good fried chicken… see you at Hip-Hop!

The chicken wings here are so good and are cooked to order. They sprinkle a sweet flavoring over the chicken that gives it an extra«ummph»!

GOTOROYALFARMS THEYDON’T HAVECHICKENTHIGHSHERE !!! I tried this place 2x. This location and the one further up Liberty Rd across from the library/wendys/KFC They coudn’t be less friendly at either location. That has nothing to do with the food… if the food is good It wasn’t. First of, what chicken place doesn’t have thighs ??? And the half asleep guys behind the counter look at you like you are crazy when you ask them why they don’t have chicken things. So i got chicken breasts. Salty, like 1⁄3 the size of Royal Farm. Sides: The one time i got greens and i am POSITIVE they came from a can. Yuk. The other time i got fried okra. Frozen. The little beads inside i love so much were like dry BB gun ammo I’ll never go again I’d say they were a 0⁄5 except that fact that both places were covered in stainless steel and were VERY clean and the cole slaw was a 1⁄5 stars.

This is the Original one across from Asian Express! !! They don’t give you cooked over fried food like the other one. The food is always fresh and hot to eat and I always enjoy:)

Every now and then you have to satisfy that fried food craving. I choose the tilapia and the wings.

I found this place during my recent trip to Baltimore, while trying to find somewhere to grab a decent dinner around 9pm. It’s a no frills, straight forward joint. Bottom line… they’re legit. Fast service, great prices, and good food. The cake slices are huge and delicious. I love that they also offer a huge fruit salad for only $ 2.50, filled with grapes and honeydew. I ordered the 3 wing/3 leg combo. The chicken was tender and had good flavor. My only«wish» was that they offered a little bit of a selection for sides that come with the combos. I do thank them for letting me get some extra fries instead of cole slaw. Good stuff, guys.

Nasty and worthless. Their chicken wing sauce selection is limited to hot or BBQ. Go to Windsor inn or Americas best wings instead

Catfish and chicken tenders are bomb. And I love their hot sauce. Whole pieces of catfish is much better than the catfish nuggets. Don’t even bother with the chicken legs… You get a lot of bang for your buck here.

This is awesome chicken and catfish!!! Staying at the Doubletree Hilton nearby, and found this because of great Unilocal. This was so hot and fresh it was still awesome and hot back in the room. And I think I went the long way. I asked for tartar sauce for the catfish and salt for the chicken and the friendly host actually put ENOUGH in there without begging or prodding. A couple generous helpings of great tartar and big handful of salt packets so I had some leftover. And really CHEAP!!! $ 11 for 3 full wings, 3 healthy legs, fries, and a catfish fillet. Oh, and they put 2 slices of white bread in the chicken and fries pack to keep the moisture from ruining the crispiness, meaning they understand takeout fried food!(I love the review that thought they were a lame side…:) I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu. Guaranteed.

I absolutely love the cheap prices and the large portions that you get. The food is cooked well. Sometimes when I get the chicken breast it is close to dry, but it’s huge too so I guess they try to ensure that it’s done all the way through. I enjoy the chicken tenders because it is all fresh breast meat, meaty tenders, and never dry. The whiting is cooked the same, but in my opinion they are cut a little thin and lack meat. I’ve had thicker whiting elsewhere. The fries are good and don’t forget your two slices of white bread buried under your mountain of fried goodies. I love the hot sauce it’s pretty spicy you only need a little bit. My biggest peeve is that they have No SALT! I was shocked and confused when I asked if they had any salt packets and the guy said they don’t ever have it. Honestly, in my opinion the chicken/batter is plain so a dash of salt would help make it more enjoyable.
