Well, when you’re flying out of Terminal B at the Hartford Airport, you only have Sundowner Café and some newspaper stand/kiosk with snacks… and I’d rather eat at the kiosk! In fact, I didn’t even know the name of this place until I looked on the BDL website, and it was the only«eatery» listed in Terminal B. Yikes. Out of sheer desperation, I braved ordering a hot dog and a beer to fill myself up. I definitely didn’t feel good about it afterwards. I suppose I could have had some of their other items such as sandwiches or baked goods, but the stuff in 7 Eleven looks fresher. Being by themselves with a captive audience must mean they don’t have to try as hard. At least the lady working there was friendly… she could be a total b**** and it wouldn’t matter, since our options would be to deal with it or have an empty stomach. At least they serve alcohol, and to some that’s all you need at an airport. But not me. (FYI — Terminal A has all the good stuff… and the terminals aren’t connected behind security. As Nelson would say… «Haa haa!»)
