History
Established in 1982.
David Harris started his business in 1982. With over 30 years of experience David Harris prides himself and his company in producing complete customer satisfaction from start to finish. He began as a painting contractor with novice business knowledge growing over time into an expert full service contracting company. David had much to learn about customer service in those early years. What he did know was how to produce an amazing paint job because he was trained hands-on by one of the few old school painting mechanics in the industry. David has applied these old school traits into every aspect of his business moving forward to this very day. The company has progressed through the years from offering just painting to offering roofing, decks, windows and doors, siding and trim, and additions.
David Harris Remodeling has over 30 years experience producing customer satisfaction from start to finish.

Accomplishments: Through the years I have secured one happy customer after another. My favorite job was a Greek Revival restoration in Colchester CT. The house was falling apart. There were asbestos tiles that were falling off the house. Beneath the tiles rotted clapboards needed to be removed. Beneath the clapboards old sheathing with many breaches had to be replaced as well as framing repairs and insulation.
Foundation repairs were needed and some of the sill needed to be replaced to firm up the structural integrity of the house. Many custom on site design decisions needed to be made through out the process. We custom built trim for the back of the house to match the complicated original design of the trim in the front. The house body was wrapped in Tyvek, and new CVG clapboard was installed. Window casings were wrapped in aluminum, and finally the house was coated to perfection with high performance materials.
