My fiancé and I came here to get coffee before heading to sign a lease. Got in and stood around for about 3 – 5 minutes before someone knew we were there. I got a dirty chai, and she got a nutty ginger. It was $ 8 for 212oz drinks, and they were not good. I would not come back here for even plain coffee.

If you’ve made it to this Grounds For Celebration congratulations! You’ve hopefully made it past the gauntlet of Windsor Heights speed traps. I stopped in after a early morning grocery trip to the nearby Hy-Vee. A small coffee set me back $ 1.84. A red flag at a coffee shop is flavored coffee beans. They had two flavored coffees, a single origin and a dark roast. I ordered a single origin but it tasted like the hazelnut flavored oils that probably shared the same bur grinder. Served in polystyrene cups(so 1984 screw the environment). If you’re serious about coffee drive the extra blocks to Mars Café on University. This place is where your aunt who doesn’t like coffee gets coffee. CHANCEOFRETURN: 1⁄10

Forget waiting in line at Starbucks these guys serve great drinks and pastries with a friendly attitude! I just wish it was a tad closer to home! However if it was I’d probably be by everyday! They’re doing it right!

Always wonderful coffee and espresso drinks. Come for lunch for homemade soups and quiche.

I’ve been here a few times for a book study. Not too busy, but quite nice.

i love this little coffee shop! its right in the middle of town, so its very convenient. i do use the drive thru sometimes, but i like going inside. the gals at the counter are always friendly. i usually get a mocha, and it is consistently good! if i’m ready for lunch, i might get my favorite, chicken salad on a fresh croissant!
