Pride & Joy Kennels

Very disappointed!!! Urged my daughter to take her golden doodle there — she has never kennels any of her dogs, so this was traumatic for her. The wasn’t there a full 24 hours when she gets a call that he hurt himself. There was no way for us to come get him. They did say they would take him to a vet if she wanted them too. She was never told what the injury was other than he wouldn’t put his weight on one of his paws. When she got home and saw how bad, she called them and said «so, do I send the vet bill to you?» They said «no» you signed something saying we, Pride & Joy, are not responsible! The dog has TWO, not one, but TWO broken bones in his leg!!! How does that happen within 24 hours and they can’t even tell you what happened. She was told that he «could» have stepped in a hole or something could have fallen on it. This is horrible and will NEVER EVER take a dog there again, will never recommend them again and will make sure I tell everyone I know the treatment the dog and my daughter got!!!

My wife & I take our two chihuahuas here to have there nails clip and owners are wonderful, friendly, sociable. I would recommend this place to my friends.

This is a great kennel! y dog loves it there. The only bad thing I can say is it’s very difficult to drop off off and pick up during the week because they have very inconvenient hours. I work 8 – 5, and drop offs are 8−11am and 3−5pm during the week. I would use the kennel a lot more if it were open even to just 6pm.

I had taken my dog to other kennels in the past before finding Pride & Joy. The costs at some of those places were crazy. This one has quickly become my favorite. My dog is always excited to visit Pride & Joy for a grooming or spend a few nights if I’m away from home. The staff is super friendly and the services are really some of the lowest prices in the area. My only suggestion would be to call ahead for your grooming appointment, especially a weekend appointment, as they fill up quickly.
