This is a great little seafood market with a few table to eat-in at and a nice outdoor area(when it’s warm). Great staff!

We visited this place based on people’s positive reviews. We wanted to try their famous Lobster roll. What can we say. It was just ok, nothing superb for $ 15. The roll was quite small, size of a tea spoon. It was not warm, toasty and buttered like it supposed to be. We ate better rolls at other places.

Great Lobster roll and great haddock sandwich! You can also order uncooked seafood to go. Such a large menu. We’ll definitely be back.

Overall, a great local seafood place. Now that the Weathervane and Newicks are both gone in the Portland area, this is about the best around. I know the owner works a ton to get the best and freshest seafood he can, and the prices are fair. No real complaints, but there’s always room for improvement, isn’t there??? Scallops and large shrimp along with the homemade fries are all awesome. Give it a try — if you like fresh seafood, it is a must.

My brother was visiting from Colorado so we wanted to have a lobster dinner. Unfortunately the local place to us we no longer will go to. We called around and looked up reviews online– Bobs seafood was our pick, despite being 40 minutes away. We ordered 9 lobsters, 2 – 2.5 lbs each on Sunday to be picked up on a Thursday at 6pm. Thursday rolled around and I arrived a little early. They had me pay and then checked on the order. Very nice person at the counter, she came back to say it was just a bit longer. I ended up ordering the lobster mac and cheese«take and bake».(Which has a good amount of lobster and you just bake it at home for 20 minutes!) The lobsters were cooked and ready on time. Very happy customers here! The price was great too $ 10.99 per lbs for the jumbo hard shells. We will be back for lobsters and for lunch/dinner some time!

In 2015, there aren’t a lot of places worth eating at in Windham. Bob’s is one of the places that is. Unpretentious in every way, the seafood is fresh, and comes in generous portions. The fried dinners are tasty, and the lobster rolls are a good value. Oh, and it’s BYOB.

Didn’t find it as great as it is made out to be a bit pricey but you have to expect that had fried clam basket nothing to brag about and the lobster roll was a bit skimpy on the lobster

Great lobster dinner. Loved that the lobster was piping hot so that by the time I was ending with the small legs they were still warm. Owners were super friendly. Will come back!

The haddock here was dynamite. We got about 6 lbs. and cooked it at home. Super-fresh and only $ 6/lb. Friendly staff. Great prices and selection.

Only ever ordered the fresh lobsters and steamer clams to cook at home. But they are consistently fresh and good, year after year. The restaurant is often busy so assume it must be pretty good. Can’t wait for my next visit… hopefully today!

Always great to stop here. No hype and no hassle. Seafood always off the boat fresh and reasonable. Chowda New England style… superb.

Everything was as expected for a seafood joint. Clam chowder was great, Clams were huge, but the burger my daughter got was a bit chewy. Another plus is that they allow dogs on their patio.

My wife and I did a training brick prepping for next weekend’s Pirate Tri at Point Sebego. We completed an open-water swim at Crystal Lake, and then, a 16-mile bike ride. Afterwards, we decided we wanted a lobster roll. Mary has been to Bob’s in North Windham before; I have not. She indicated that they had a decent lobster roll. We both had the lobster roll. It is served on a toasted white hot dog bun(see my other reviews about that) and had a good amount of fresh lobster meat lightly coated with mayonnaise. They have hand-cut fries that others have raved about, so we split a quart, and I had the seafood stew. The rolls were great. Top-notch lobster roll, not the best I ever had, but a darn good one. I’d order it again. The fries were great, they provide malt vinegar(another perk), and the seafood stew was hearty and flavorful. Even though it was 94, I love my soups and chowders and will eat them all summer. The restaurant and accompanying seafood market sit along the very busy Route 302. It’s pretty nondescript from the road, but they have a nice outdoor seating area, with an awning, freshly-painted picnic tables, and the area was especially clean. Another nice feature were the plastic buckets if you order steamers or lobsters, which they’ll cook, fresh. Each table had a roll of paper towels. Good place for seafood takeout and one I’d visit again when in the area.

Food is great! And the one burger in our $ 160.00 order had a nice layer of pink! Everyone loved the Haddock nuggets and Lobster stew

Lobster roll is heaping with fresh, tasty lobster and it’s not swimming in mayo like a lot of places. Bottom line: it’s delicious, just be prepared to pay. We had two lobster rolls, two cups of clam chowder and a kids cheese quesadilla(just tortilla and cheese). Add an iced tea and the bill was $ 44.95. Ouch.

Traditional lobster roll. A generous amount of fresh meat for a great value. Clam chowder was a little bland, could use some seasoning.

This place is awesome… They are so friendly and aim to please… Food is out of this world fresh… and plenty of it. As a Mainiac transplant that now lives in NC… I really miss Maine seafood and can always get it here at a great price… not like the touristy spots on the coast… Bob won’t cook or serve it if it isn’t fresh… Use to think Newick’s was the only place but guess where I go now!

Very nice place to eat. Lunch specials if you are feeling thrifty. staff is very friendly. Place can be busy, but the orders come quick. Oh and they have sweet potato fries, you can replace your normal fries for a buck more. Who doesn’t love sweet potato fries?
