Curling floors as in laminate starts to come up, on top of them not being able to clean
Short circuits happen very off
PAPER thin walls
Cheap appliances and mismatch microwave light broke after 6 months
Bad trash service that brings bugs and is a mandatory pay
Shower fixtures broke after 2 months
Bugs (lots of roaches mosquitos, and snakes
Doors squeak after short time
Fan must come on in bathroom when you turn on the light
Ac broke 4 times over the corse of a year
Ac takes 4 ever to cool down house
Publix is horrible and does not have the things you need on a regular basis
Water does not get hot enough, and I had to manually turn it up
2^nd bed room is bigger than master
They never clean the hallways
Cabinets are small and uneven doors that won’t close properly
Washer almost flooded house, because they are LOW QUALITY
Light fixtures cheap and die after short time
Cheap carpet stains from water
Grocery shopping is hard with only stairs
Neighborhood is merged with another
Breaker is in the middle of the living room
Light switches are place awkwardly
Speakers installed in the wall can not be used
Lights in parking lot go on and off at random times all the time
Have to set ac by week very difficult especially when hot
Can’t turn blinds the other way
Power out in the entire Windermere once a month anywhere form 5 min to 3 hours
Lights with 2 different spots to switch on sometimes won’t turn off at all

The Retreat at Windermere is just that, a retreat! The neighborhood is very quiet and neighbors are friendly. Maintenance always completes any submitted service requests in a timely manner. Great location. Close to all the necessities, yet far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Would definitely recommend The Retreat at Windermere to a friend!

PROS: The community is very well kept. Everything is very clean and maintenance is always quick to respond if there are any issues. There’s definitely a community feeling, people walking their dogs, planting and growing in the organic garden, there’s always people playing soccer outside, fishing, riding bikes, etc. Publix is a short walk away and if you’re located in the right spot, you can see the Magic Kingdom fireworks every night which is pretty cool. (You CAN hear the fireworks, but they’re nowhere near loud enough to be a bother). The kitchen is beautiful and the bedrooms are HUGE. The office throws events together all the time. I have never participated in any but they do movie nights, wine nights, pool parties, easter and christmas events, etc. The amenities are amazing. iMacs in the leasing office, xbox and video games in the game room, awesome gym, there’s a yoga building that I’ve never been in, the garden, playground, dog park, soccer field, pretty lakes/​ponds, and THE POOL AREA. Overall, I feel really safe living here.
CONS: We were the first people to live in this apartment unit (these buildings are brand new) but it’s obvious they were put together very quickly. The floor has got a few paint splatters, as well as the light switches and outlets. There are random drill holes in the bathroom and kitchen from what appears to be mistakes in assembling the cabinetry. The mosquitos SWARM when it’s hot out (which is most of the time, this is Florida after all) and your balcony will be pretty much useless during those times. I’ve also encountered wasp nests under our patio furniture. You can definitely hear your neighbors TVs, conversations and barking dogs, but that’s the case in pretty much every apartment I’ve ever lived in.

I just cant say enough good things! the staff are super friendly and the apartments are beautiful! the pool is to DIE. FOR!!! love the community events as well! I’ve made many friends in the complex! seriously! LOVE IT~~~

Leasing Experience:
Amy and Carmen have been nothing but fabulous and patient. These ladies make a great team, and have a amazing complex to lease.
I am so anxious to move in, it’s ridiculous. The community and unit’s themselves are gorgeous and spacious.
