A little pricier than I expected but it was a great experience and a really nice salon. I will be back.

I was in town for a marathon and went in to get a post-​run pedicure. I thought that salon was clean and well decorated. I liked that they were able to get me in within 30 mins of calling them. I only get 2 – 3 pedicures a year so I do not have much data to go on, but I have had better pedicures in the past. I was happy with the color options and the water temp, and the woman who did my nails was nice enough. I think my disappointment was that she did not shape my nails well and I would have liked a little bit of a longer massage on my feet since I had just run in the race the day before. I would go back again when I am in town, but would want to request a deeper, longer foot massage.

Jenna has been my hairstylist for years and her performance and level of service provided at Marilyn Monroe’s Glamour Room continues to be exemplary. She takes time to listen to your needs & desires for your cut & color, hosts wonderful conversation, and makes you feel pampered & beautiful during your treatment. The location and ambience of the facility is convenient and nice, and I love the ability to book your appointments online. Marilyn Monroe’s Glamour Room has exceeded my expectations as a client.

The staff here was very friendly and accommodating but I couldn’t believe how overpriced the nail services here were. I paid double what I pay at my normal salon, and my manicure only last two days. Highly disappointing.

This was first time at the Glamour Room in Windermere and I was SO fortunate to have Clara who is a perfectionist when it comes to pedicures! I had been to Marilyn Monroe Nail Boutique @ Mills 50 and really like the clean, fresh and professional atmosphere they consistently display. The entire staff was friendly and courteous. This MM is a full service Glamour Room so their services include massage, hairstyling, nail and waxing services, facials and professional make up artistry.
My pedicure was amazing! I also had the paraffin wrap which was heavenly. Clara’s attention to detail and her professional and friendly demeanor made the whole experience a joy! I will be a regular!

Really great salon, all the staff is super friendly and nice. Once you come in they greet you right away and ask if you like anything to drink. Everyone is well dressed professional. The salon is also super clean. TATIANA is the best for pedi/​mani/​facials/​wax. She is super nice and worth every penny spent! If you haven’t tried this salon yet, it is worth going. Lulu is the manager there and she is doing a great job :)

I love this place!!! I was very skeptical of trying it out but gave it a shot and got a blowout. I loved it so much that I signed up for their unlimited blowout/​month membership. With my long, thick hair it is definitely worth it! I really like Jenna!
Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They are not high pressure sales but do let you know of their other services. The location is so convenient to me. I can’t wait to try a massage and facial next. Definitely a one stop beauty destination! You can also buy gift cards for friends! I definitely recommend this place.

So rarely do I ever feel the need to write multiple reviews about a place. However, every time I visit this spa I can’t help but overlook the fact that I just spent 45 minutes in soul-​crushing rush hour traffic trying to get from my office in Winter Park to their location in Windermere. That’s how much I love Tatiana and the staff at Marilyn Monroe Spas.
Now that I’ve gone there 5 or 6 times, I have a pretty good idea of what to expect. I am never disappointed! Tatiana has the treatment room ready the moment I walk in the door, with the body contoured table warm and fitted with luxurious white sheets. If I could come home every day and just lay on a table like that with a hot towel on my face, my days would be so much better.
After efficiently setting me up for our treatment, Tatiana goes to work by applying product after product after product. I’m far too in the zone to even know what she’s doing, only that I’m in a state of total bliss. When it is time for extractions, Tatiana is determined to get everything out of your pores. I’ve had technicians skim over and do a few extractions here and there, but not her. Afterwards, she applies a chamomile treatment that leaves my face in perfect condition with no signs of redness and ready to walk out of the salon.
As a result of coming in for facials every 2 – 3 months, I’ve noticed that my skin has been far clearer and I’ve given up my age-​old habit of examining my pores on a daily basis. I’m even starting to think I enjoy a facial more than I do a deep tissue massage. Tatiana told me that she had been recently promoted to a lead position. I’m so happy for her! She deserves it and it’s nice to know that the spa recognizes great work.

I must say that the Marilyn Monroe Glamour Room is such a welcomed addition to Windermere! I love their blowout membership, and have visited at least twice a week for a shampoo and blowout since joining. The staff is lovely and the salon is so welcoming. I was a little weary about the use of L’oreal products on my hair since I am an Aveda girl, but the shampoos and hair sprays seem gentle and make my hair smell great!
I’ve also had the Marilyn Monroe signature facial with Tatiana, which was fabulous! I really liked the products that are used being that they are all organic. Felicia’s pedicures and gel manicures are far better than the nail shop just down the street and their nail polish is formaldehyde, DBP, and toluene free, which is very important to me.
I love the ease of booking appointments online and the fact that the Glamour Room is extending their hours too. I have to admit that I was weary of writing a glowing review for fear of the Glamour Room becoming so popular that I can’t get an appointment, but 5 stars is well deserved and must be shared!

I got a 50 minute massage by Johnny (sp?) and LOVED IT! I got there 15 minutes early and he was already there waiting for me (I did book an appointment the day before). I really appreciate his promptness and that alone deserves 5 stars.
We talked during the session, but I’m sure he’s cool with silence as well. He keeps the line of communication open and asks periodically if you are liking what is being done, if it’s too hard, etc.
Overall, he is amazing and the place itself is very welcoming and relaxing to be in. I will definitely be coming back here and requesting Johnny as my massage therapist. I’ll also be coming here to get my nails done and I’ll update my review once I do that.

After attending the awesome CMYE event here, I knew I had to check out Marilyn Monroe Spas to check out more of their services. My experience was awesome!
First off, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. When you first walk in, they offer you a complimentary drink while you wait. The interior is very relaxing and modern, with accents tastefully paying homage to Ms. Monroe. There are walls full of products to look at and everyoneis more than happy to talk about them if you have questions. I personally bought some the beauty supplies there, too, since they were priced fairly well.
I booked a 50 minute massage appointment with Debbie and I will definitely come back again. After fetching me from the front area, she made sure to explain the whole process to me and asked me if I had any areas she should focus on (I said my hands and feet). Following the typical massage routine, I undressed and rang the little silver bell she provided, and we began!
The massage was AH-​MAZING. Definitely what I needed after taking some awful exams. That citrus oil she uses to relax you at the beginning was very refreshing and relaxing. The bed was heated, cozy, and soft; I almost passed out, but I didn’t want to miss a bit of the massage. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and her hands are like magic. I thought 50 minutes would be enough, but I was wrong.
I left a new person. A tip though, don’t wear flip flops or any shoes that may slip off too easily, because my feet were still a little too oiled.
Overall, I will definitely visit Debbie again. She’s the best!

This place never disappoints! Had a combo with Chau and it was the best. Very relaxing, thorough massage and perfect polish. Everything was extremely sanitary and orderly. Perfect!

I had passed by this place a few times while I was going to dinner at Dexter’s nearby. I had heard nice things about another location and thought I’d check it out. I was pleasantly surprised at the pricing, as its near Isleworth, I thought it might be overpriced, but the facials, manicure, pedicures, etc were in line with other spas I have gone to. I was given a nice tour of the facility from the manager, Barb, and she did a good job of going over what they offered, without trying to push me into any services (which I appreciated).
I was in need of getting a facial and was actually able to get an appointment for that same day. I also was able to get a manicure.
The chairs for the manicure were very nice and I was totally relaxed. Manicure was great and they had a nice selection of colors.
I moved on to my facial, which was lovely. Debbi was very professional and I appreciated her overview of what the process would be and she asked all the right questions, as far as allergies, etc. The room for the facials was very clean and relaxing, set back from the other areas of the spa. I will definitely be back for another facial and manicure! The staff was all very friendly and I didn’t feel like they were trying to up sell me on any services/​products, which was very refreshing:).

I had attended a special event here and was blown away by the additional services offered here that are not offered at the Mills location. I decided to book an appointment for a 50 minute Marilyn Monroe Signature Massage for a future visit. This location is quite far from where I live but I’m one of those folks that doesn’t mind venturing far from where they live.
On the day of my massage I was greeted by the front staff and my massage therapist, Deborah, who offered me something to drink and then brought me back to the room to change. I was asked about any allergies, medical issues and the kind of pressure I would want. She then mentioned to ring the bell when I was ready. And, yep, there was one of those silver bells on a chair nearby. The massage was pretty amazing considering I had just come from being at work all day. The bed was nice and heated so I was in and out of sleep. I loved the warm compresses used during the session as well as the foot massage! Um, hello! In addition, she was very mindful during the session asking if pressure was ok. Those 50 minutes went way too fast.
At checkout, I mentioned that I wanted to add tip to the card. I didn’t have enough cash and didn’t want to lowball the therapist so I insisted on adding to the card. The girl ringing me up did mention that I could give cash for tip as they only get paid every 2 weeks (um, hello I do too). That just rubbed me the wrong way a little. There should be a better way to suggest how to tip without slightly insulting the paying customer.
Side note– When signing your receipt– there is an additional blank to tip. But my tip was already added in the total. So be mindful of that so you don’t double tip (unless you want to). It’s a little confusing and I’m sure I’m not the first to notice. When in doubt, always ask before signing!
In a nutshell, great massage with Deborah and I’ll leave it at that. They do have a Mad About Marilyn rewards program that they offer. It’s essentially a $ 30 prepay every month to put towards their services. For every $ 10 you spend, you get $ 1 in Mad Money credited to your account. You also receive a 10% off discount for retail products and 20% off discount at all of their hotel spas. And there are never any cancellation fees or contracts to sign. Points roll over from month to month but expire at the end of the calendar year.

Marilyn Monroe Spas Glamour Room does a very good job at making you feel glamorous. From hair and makeup to nails and massages, this new spa has the right mix of beauty services with decent prices. They are located in a newer shopping plaza in Windermere so it was convenient for me to go here after work. Parking spots closest to the spa are hard to find, but there are plenty of spaces behind the building.
At a recent Unilocal event, I got a great taste of some of the services they have to offer (hair styling, nail painting, massage) so I had to go back again. I booked a pedicure on a Tuesday evening after work. I received a reminder phone call a few hours before my appointment at 6. I’m not sure what normal weeknights are like, but I was the only person getting a pedicure at that time. After sitting briefly in the waiting area, I was greeted by my pedicurist and brought back to the nail chairs. The big spa chair was a little different than the ones that most nail places have these days (no massage feature), but my pedicurist made sure I was comfortable.
After getting situated in the chair, I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to the «spa» pedicure but I decided to stick with the basic pedicure which was perfect for me. I pre-​selected my nail color (Forever Sexy). The pedicurist treated my feet with lots of care and I enjoyed her attention to detail. We had casual conversation and she was pleasant to talk to. The televisions constantly run with information about the spa and information about Marilyn Monroe, which was interesting to read. There was not as much feet soaking and leg rubbing as most other nail salons but that did not bother me. A small bag of complimentary nail supplies (buffer, block, and file) was given to me upon completion of the services that night.
What a classy spa with friendly staff and sensible prices! I hope to go again another time to try out one of their other services.

The Staff was amazing and attentive. The nail polish used at this particular salon is vegan and cruelty free and does not contain any ingredients that are typically harmful found in other nail polishes. The ambiance is refreshing and relaxing. Also the chairs to have a pedicure and manicure are like one big pillow not your typical chairs. Of course I am a girly girl at heart so the Marilyn Monroe based theme is so pretty and gives the establishment that extra little bedazzle that every girl needs.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the wonderful staff. They were very pleasant and offered assistance as soon as I entered. The salon was beautiful and the Marilyn Monroe photos throughout the salon were very classy and gorgeous. It was not too overwhelming.
Another part I enjoyed about the décor in the salon was the fresh roses. I can’t exactly recall what type of roses they were but they were very beautiful and very well kept. You could tell whoever placed the roses were very detailed about it and made sure they were fresh.
I got a polish change when I went. The seating was very comfortable. Unlike other usual salons, these chairs were very comfortable and almost similar to recliners you would have in your home. The woman doing my nails was very personable and made it a point to keep going on each side to cater to my nails. I did not have to move my hands once.
I also got my hair curled by Jenna. She was very nice, very informative and very pleasant. Not to mention the great job she did on my hair. Granted, she just curled it, but when I got up from the chair it seemed as though I had a full service hair job done on my hair.
It was wonderful!
I will definitely be going back!!! Especially since they offer a program you can join that is not only affordable but beneficial to both the customer and the business.
