Yes, yes and yes. You build your own frozen yogurt: you select the cup size, put yogurt in it, put gobs of toppings on it, they weight it, you pay. Fantabulous! Delicious! Go, eat, enjoy. Will be back!

Small simple shop with all the flavors and all the fixings. Enjoy your treat out back overlooking the water! Super nice folks and delicious yogurt!

I’m a big frozen yogurt fan and the quality of both the toppings and the yogurt here make this a clear winner over many of the franchises populating the mini-​malls of America. If you’re in the area, this is the perfect way to cool off and enjoy a great treat. Don’t forget there is a back porch to enjoy your treat on.

Nice place, good selection of yoghurts and toppings. I like how if you eat at inoz and bring your receipt they give you a little discount, hehe. Very clean feeling inside. Probably could do with a few more seats, I imagine on a busy day there’s probably an issue with seating.

Great place for an afternoon snack. Has four stars only because it only had one dairy free option. That is important to me due to my allergies. They really do use the wooden spoons!

This rustic DIY yogurt shop fits in perfect with the downtown local shops and café’s of Wimberley. This place takes the rustic theme inside and out, and is extremely cozy and clean. Simply walk in, take a cup, and fill it up. You pay by weight. Take note try don’t accept American Express here. They have several different flavors, and two different toppings bars to roam, one even with fresh fruit. Once you make your way down, the cash register is conveniently located at the end, and you pay. You can sit inside, or outside on their small patio shaded by old oak trees overlooking the creek. A perfect calming setting to enjoy your yummy treat. The service was friendly, and as she doesn’t have much to do, she looked bored. I loved that they actually had a non — dairy option so I was able to join in the fun with my friend. The dairy free watermelon sorbet was DELICIOUS! I hope they have this flavor often, as it was smooth and creamy.

Lots of topping options. Thin Mint and Watermelon yogurts were both delicious.

Didn’t give this froyo shop much consideration — they are all the same mediocre flavors, fresh but not actually fresh toppings, and over priced.
I was intrigued by the thin mint flavor — sampled a small bit. Yummmm! Enough so that I got a small serving. My Mr. got the blackberry — equally delicious. He also got a small serving. We paid less than $ 5 for both servings. Just enough to enjoy without feeling stuffed.
There was a fresh chilled toppings bar as well as the standard delicious toppings. Not ever really a fan of those — just the sweet, chilled, flavorful deliciousness!
Definitely way above the standard chain froyo places. Great treat!

This is a very cute, rustic yogurt shop and the aesthetic itself earns it at least a star or two. They apparently offer a ton of different flavors that are circulated every now and then, but I must have visited on an off day, as most of the yogurt dispensers weren’t in use and there were only five flavors to choose from (which were mostly standard flavors like vanilla and chocolate). The two topping bars, though, made up for that and had a great selection of yogurt accompaniments: fresh fruit, candies, choco/​yogurt chips, cereals, nuts, some syrups, poppers, and even more. Plus, yeah, having actual wooden spoons does give it that final touch!
It wasn’t the best froyo I’ve ever had but it was decent, and the shop definitely adds a little something to the Wimberley area. Give it a shot if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat; it’s always the right time to eat froyo!

Wonderful new business on the Square. The newly-​renovated space is very clean and inviting. This includes a new outdoor deck shaded by oak trees and overlooking Cypress Creek. The yogurt was delicious; complimented by a variety of toppings. A welcome addition to Wimberley!

Is it me, or has there been a huge surge in serve-​yourself style frozen yogurts places popping up? I know in the neighboring towns, there’s about 20 combined, and that seems a bit much if you ask me. I mean, frozen yogurt is awesome, especially when it’s 105 degrees outside. And there’s nothing better than making sure that the yogurt you get is EXACTLY what you want, down to amount, flavors and toppings. The yogurt world is pretty much your oyster at these DIY yogurt shops, and that’s pretty cool.
Well, folks, the humble little town that I call home, Wimberley, just got their first DIY fro-​yo shop, The Wooden Spoon. I have to make a confession. When this place opened up a few weeks ago at 14000A on RR12, I had little to no desire to go. I mean, like I said, there’s a million-​billion yogurt places around, and who needs ANOTHER dang yogurt place? Those shops I was talking about are all pretty much the same, and I didn’t have high expectations of something brand new and different from The Wooden Spoon.
But I have to say something… This place is special. First of all, it’s adorable.
The interior is charming, rustic and perfect for Wimberley. Second of all, the yogurt is just plain good. There’s no getting around it. It’s amazing.
Also, The Wooden Spoon changes their fro-​yo flavors like a teenage girl changes her style. Stupid metaphor, but I couldn’t stop myself. They range from the traditional «Alpine Vanilla,» to «Thin Mint» and «Green Apple Sorbet.»
Then there’s the topping bars. Yes, two bars; one for chilled goodies and one for those not requiring any cooling.
It was on the chilled topping bar that I encountered something I’d never seen before: Boba Balls.
Popping Boba Balls are my new favorite thing, pretty much ever. If you’ve ever had bubble tea in your life, you’ve probably encountered something similar to these beauties but these less gummy balls burst with juice flavor as you bite into them. They’re translucent, and stunning. I love them. I love them so much.
After my fiancé, soon-​to-​be step-​son and I went that first time, we were hooked. HOOKED I TELL YOU. I mean, yesterday was our third time there, and I can foresee many more visits.
Too bad they don’t yet have a punch card. Wink, Wink. Nudge, Nudge…
Anyway, if you’re sick of the cookie cutter, not-​as-​fresh-​as-​it-​should-​be fro-​yo stops, head on out to the SUPER beautiful Hill Country town of Wimberley to grab a fresh treat from Wooden Spoon. OH and guess what? They really do have wooden spoons!
