History
Established in 2013.
After 10 years of teaching yoga throughout Fairfield County, Mitchel Bleier, an internationally known yoga teacher, and his wife Tracy, also a long time beloved local yoga teacher, opened yogapata on June 1st, 2013.
Both are devoted to their passion of teaching disciplines of yoga which promote healing of the body and ease and peacefulness of the mind with a deep connection and affirmation of one’s own heart and desire to live a life one would love to live. Their classes are safe, empowering and transformational for any student at any level. Mitchel and Tracy have trained over 250 yoga teachers in Fairfield County, plus hundreds more all over the world
The studio, Yogapata, which means «falling into», or the descent of yoga into your life, is for the playfully serious. Yogapata is the area’s most educated and spirited studio as both the play and art of yoga is a deep reflection of the Bleier’s unparalleled knowledge in the field and creative flair with which they teach.
