Description

Specialties

«Jazzeria Italian Restaurants (Wilton Pizza — Wilton, Piccolo Pizza — Ridgefield and Toozy Patza Pizza — Georgetown) is proud that every item on our menu is the best quality available. Our dough is made fresh daily and we take great pride in making our pizza sauce from scratch with the best California tomatoes and a secret blend of herbs and spices. Our recipes have been handed down from generation to generation and come from the land where pizza was invented. Our promise and commitment to you is to offer quality service: friendly, attentive and professional so you can relax and enjoy the homemade quality food for which we are known. Our Jazz roots also are expressed in the creativity of our menu, where the traditional dishes carry a little tweak that shows our originality. We are a locally owned and operated restaurant and want to thank you for dining with us.

Sincerely,

Matthew Criscuolo, owner — 203−856−4040

History

Established in 1993.

A 30 Year Commitment to Excellence

It all started when my father, Matt Sr., emigrated from Italy to this country and opened Rowayton Pizza in Norwalk, Ct (ca.1970) He would bring me to work with him when I was just six years old because it was a family affair with Mom in the kitchen and my brother and I up front helping Dad. I learned at an early age that the key to a restaurant’s success wasn’t its slick marketing campaign, but the love and care put into every dish. I learned that authentic Italian ingredients were more important than saving a few cents by using inferior ingredients and I learned that customer service needs to be a way of life, not just an empty promise.

I’ve merged my passion for Jazz with my passion for my pizzerias and created a unique concept in casual dining… the Jazzeria™ (Jazz + Pizzeria = Jazzeria™).

With over 30 years in the business, I put those lessons to use when I opened Wilton Pizza in 1993, Piccolo’s Pizza in 1999 and Toozypatza Pizza in 2006. Armed with the freshest of ingredients, lessons learned every year when I go back to Amalfi, Italy and a dedication to quality food, my restaurants will provide you with a consistently fine dining experience.
