Honey Tree Preschool & Childcare Of Wilton

My daughter started preschool at Honey Tree almost 2 years ago. We have had a great experience here! The staff at honey tree provides the perfect mix of academics and socialization. I just enrolled my son in the 1s class and he loves it too! They have flexible hours and are open year round! It’s nice to find a preschool that doesn’t run on the public school calendar. The staff is caring and it’s evident they all love what they do. The monthly parent night outs are awesome too! I highly recommend Honey Tree!

While looking for a school for our 3 month old daughter we were lucky enough to come across Honey Tree. I was heading back to work and it was such a difficult decision. I am a preschool teacher so I know how important it for children to be socialized at a younger age however it is never easy to leave your child somewhere you don’t really know. Upon walking into Honey Tree we were welcomed with open arms and I felt they really took the time to meet my daughter and find out what we were looking for. After finding Honey Tree all my worries were out the window. On her first day I received some photo text messages updating me on her first day, an email explaining what she did during the day, and when I picked her up she had a smile on her face. What more could I ask for. It makes going back to work so much easier knowing she is being taken care of and exposed to so many wonderful experiences. Thank you Honey Tree!

Honey Tree has been so good for my daughter. When she started, around 20 months old, she was not saying much, and friendly but also pretty clingy. We’d just moved up from the city, where we had a nanny, and I was nervous about daycare, but our pediatrician advised daycare while my husband and I work since Little One’s language was behind and she thought the other kids would help (she is now talking a blue streak, so I guess the pedi was right).
I looked at 5 childcare/​preschools before choosing. The «vibe» at Honey Tree was head and shoulders above any other place. The teachers are calm. They are patient. They make accommodations to help individual kids enjoy their experience. They spend tons of time outside. They do great art projects. They bring in «Jump Bunch» for the 2+ crowd. They organize family events for Halloween, the winter holidays. They send a daily update with a pic of my kid, that pretty much every other working parent at my organization is jealous of and wishes he or she received.
Most importantly, they are communicative. From the teachers to the owners, if you email or call, you can expect a response almost instantly. And the responses I’ve received to inquiries/​concerns have always been met with good judgment.
I feel very lucky to be a Honey Tree parent, and my only concern in writing this review is that HT will become more crowded :-).
