If you didn’t buy your car from them they are not helpful but down right rude in the service department.

Took my 2005 Nissan 350z show car with 18k miles in for a coolant flush & a mild rattle I had since 12k miles & no drivability issues. They called me & told me the coolant flush was done but couldn’t find source of rattle. They wanted to drain fuel & use octane booster. I told them fuel was new & not to put any engine additive nor octane booster. They called me back & said the rattle was a lose exhaust bolt they fixed & car was done.
I arrived to pick it up, paid, but they wouldn’t bring my car out. They directed me in the shop under a sign clearly marked «no customers beyond this point /​Employees Only. I got in my car & it wouldn’t start. After a long cranking effort never before exhibited, it ran poorly & had a check engine light! At the dealer, when I dropped it off fine just wanting a coolant flush because I was moving to Arizona from Oregon. Somehow they had put 35 miles on my show 350z & popped the check engine light! I paid an extra $ 250 in sensors that were fine going in & the motor crapped out 500 miles down the road after this. This car had 18,135 miles & had no previous issues. The car hasn’t ran since & I was forced to buy a new car. They ruined a 30k car. They would not look at the car, try & rectify, fix or anything. They wouldn’t call me back or even reply to emails. I texted the service manager who I had been dealing with, & he replied, «can’t talk know» (Jim Waters). When I told them I would bring it in, I got a letter from their atty stating they denied any responsibility & who’d not let me bring it in. Now I have to file litigation. They even admitted the sales manager had driven my car & wanted to buy it. My car was in for service. Not for their driving pleasure or to damage. The engine remains damaged & non drivable. Steer clear! I used Beaverton Nissan prior with no issue. Two customers were throwing fits when I dropped it off, I should have headed this warning.

A long over due shout out to Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan! What a fantastic experience I had! I called the dealership and told the dealer I spoke with about the GLADSTONE NISSAN SCAMMERS. I was transfered to Chris Bagley the manager, he made up for what Gladstone Nissan did to me (I gave Gladstone a Unilocal rating as well, lucky them). But this Unilocal review is about Tonkin Wilsonville, my whole experience was the best I’ve ever had buying a car! My sales person Tim, as well as the gentleman in Finance, and everyone in between and after purchasing my new car went above and beyond to make my experience there a 5 star. It was quick too, thank you thank you!!! Buy your car at this dealership you will be happy you did!

We are very happy with the entire experience we had at Tonkin with Rick and Nick. The whole team, in fact, was so helpful and kind. I love my car too. I have to tell you that part of the reason I purchased my vehicle from Tonkin was the warm atmosphere at the dealership. It truly is all in the way you treat people. In the end, I was truly impressed with the team work, transparency, honesty, and professionalism displayed by both Rick and Nick. You have won me over as a Nissan fan! I highly recommend this team & this dealership!
Oh, and this is from the former owner of and Audi Q5. They say once you get spoiled with a luxury car, you will never go back. My experience at Nissan was so exceptional, that I feel in love with the Rogue and the customer service.

First of all, inventory was amazing. No shortage here (lesson learned… before you visit a dealer, check their inventory on line to make sure they have a good selection otherwise they just try to steer you towards a vehicle they have on hand whether or not it fits your needs. This dealership does not do that because they have plenty of stock on everything).
Just traded in my Ford Expedition for a Nissan Rogue. Had visited another dealership where they wanted me to buy but gave me nothing I wanted and offered too little for my trade-​in. This dealership did none of that. They pulled out the exact car I wanted. I dealt with Jay (and Nick — thank you Nick!) and Jay was FANTASTIC. When I told them what I wanted for my trade-​in, the team went back over the car to see if they could improve the value. Because I had filled out the pre-​approval forms online, finance had me pre-​approved before I got there. When I told Jay what I wanted for monthly payments, the team worked to meet it. When it still didn’t quite meet what I wanted for monthly payments, they started asking about my memberships (Costco, AAA, etc) to see if they could add in more discounts to get to my price. Jay promised easy and simple, it was. No haggling — they beat the Costco discount I was working with the other dealership on. They worked to meet what I needed and wanted and at no time did I feel they were being pushy or dishonest. He even took me on a test drive on the worst roads so I could see how the road noise affected the noise inside the car. We went up hills, on windy roads… It was a great test drive. At the end he took the time to give me a tour of the facility to make sure I knew where Service was and then set up my phone on my new car’s bluetooth system and put my home address into the navigation system for me.
Finance (John Nguyen) was AWESOME! Not only did he manage to get me what I wanted on the day that I bought the car, but when I went in a day later to drop off some paperwork, he told me he had managed to get me a better interest rate (as well as an additional rebate), sat me down right there and had me resign some of the paperwork. Because of the better interest rate, he was able to set me up with a maintenance contract for the car which means other than gas, windshield wipers and tires (the things that wear), no maintenance expenses out of my pocket for the next 6 years. Together with the extended warranty I just got, I will have no out of pocket car expenses (other than the things already listed) for the next 6 – 7 years.
You may think that yeah, they force you to get all this stuff you don’t need, but there was no pressure and I could have said no at any time and I am absolutely positive they would have just said ok and taken it off. Also, all of this stuff was for a lot LESS money than the other dealership had been trying to get me to agree to and I got more car to boot. Better experience and a no-​pressure sales team.
If I ever need a car in the future, I will be going there and asking for Jay. If you go based on this review, please tell Jay that Sabrina sent you so he knows just how much I appreciate my new Nissan family.

I wish my experience was better, I inquired about a vehicle via the Internet, I was specific about the vehicle I wanted and what I wanted to pay. They sent me a price quote which was for the max I had said I would pay. I replied to their quote willing to go a head with the deal but of course they switched the price and now it’s $ 2000 more than the quote they gave me. The salesman tried to get me to go forward with the increased sale price, of course. The gentleman I spoke to was pleasant but it’s frustrating that they pull this bate and switch. I would love to find a honest car dealer who I can trust and feel good doing business with. Please let me know if such a Nissan dealer exists.

Did I mention how Ash is the best? Oh, let me start at the beginning :) I came in to see what the new Rogue was like. I kept seeing it on the commercials and it looked really cool and revamped. No expectations, not even with my husband, just looking.
As I pulled into the big sunny parking lot with plenty of open parking spaces, I walked up the steps inside and was greeted by a friendly salesman name Ash. He asked me what I was looking for and I said well we have been leasing a Nissan leaf (we had previously got at Beaverton Nissan 2years back) so we want to stay with the Nissan family but wanted to upgrade and buy this time so I thought I would check out the Rogue (plus I had never been to this dealership, only heard great things, while reversely Beaverton Nissan doesn’t seem quite like I remembered). He said excellent choice let me show you all the features. And what a load of features there were!!! He showed me more things than I was shown at the car show earlier this year. I really was in love. I was done, sold, but wanted to do my best not to be overly excited schoolgirl about it.
I said my husband had a tee time but I would see if he could come by after his golf game. Ash said no problem I’ll be here all day no pressure or you can come back tomorrow… I really appreciated his friendly attitude, not pushy at all! We went on a test drive and he had a very ‘chill, like you’ve known each other for years’ attitude the whole time. It really made a difference, like the whole car ride felt natural as if I already owned it and we were just running errands. Really the salesperson is half of the car buying experience and Ash was great. Needless to say I called my husband and a few hours later he came by and we were both sold.
The paperwork experience was fairly seamless too. Tonkin Nissan was very generous with accepting our LEAF lease that we were turning in early and exchanging the license plates for us so we we didn’t have to get new plates filed for the new car. They took care of all the DMV paperwork for us to arrange the exchange. The finance manager was clearly a pro and had been doing it for years. Studied at OSU, but we won’t be all rivals about that :) The whole time he had a smile on his face and a bright cheery attitude. Also a snappy dresser!
There was NO buyer’s remorse, just great feelings, excitement about the great deal, great car and great dealership. Plus Ash threw us some Nissan swag. Buying this car will be enough for a couple years but I would definitely come back and recommend them. In fact I’ve already recommended them so hopefully more great deals for others in the future… Couldn’t be happier, thanks again to Ash and the whole team.

Always go a step beyond in servicing my Pathfinder. Even give it a wash after just a basic service.

This review applies to the service department only. And for point of reference — the other vehicle I own is a Mini Cooper so I am used to a very professional service department that gets things taken care of right the first time.
Today I came in for an oil change and they forgot to reset the reminder light so I had to circle back and get that done.
The oil change before that (early spring) was done with some service work and it went OK. And last fall when it was just an oil change and a request to find the correct bolts for the front plate — they did not put in the full synthetic that I requested and they ruined my front license plate holder by over-​tightening bolts with the wrong thread. I had to make a return trip to get the holder swapped out when the part came in.
Based on my experience — be prepared to QA the work this place does and/​or make extra trips back.

I went to this dealership’s Service Department for several years for service on my Nissan Sentra. I always received excellent customer service and never had to take the car back a second time. Work seemed to always be done correctly the first time. They seemed honest and did what they said – no surprise bills or anything like that. It is obvious they care about customer service and go that extra mile. I have recently transferred my Nissan to my daughter who will also be continuing to take the car there.

We did absolutely everything here but purchase the car. And it was disappointing for us (as well as the dealership I’m sure) since we received superior service from Rick Gilpin. Unfortunately, the exact combination of features we wanted in our new vehicle wasn’t on site so we ultimately made the purchase from the dealership in Gladstone.
When we buy a car, both Mr. K and I exhaustively research and drive cars to find that perfect fit. It means that in the past few years we’ve visited a large variety of dealerships in the Portland metro area and for our finalists it means multiple visits for test drives, to discuss financing, etc. And we would put Rick near the top of the list for making the buying experience both informative and pleasant.
As owners of an Infiniti and now a Nissan, we have also used the service department at this location for both vehicles since Infiniti is the luxury version of a Nissan. While overall I’m pretty happy with the Infiniti service department, it is much more convenient to service our vehicles in Wilsonville rather than Beaverton. And aside from the convenience, we’ve found that the service department at Nissan charges a lower hourly rate and have been less prone to up sell nonessential repairs. Always a plus.

I would not recommend this as a place to purchase a vehicle. Disorganized is an understatement! I’m frustrated with THEIR lack of communication between themselves. It’s not my job to get their affairs in order. I also found the finance guy extremely pushy and rude.
What should have been a regular car buying experience turned into a cheesy 1970ish car dealership fiasco… No wonder they have the reputation that they do.

Just bought a certified pre-​owned Nissan from Rick & Mickey over at Tonkin Nissan. I made the trip down to Oregon from the Seattle area and was nervous the trek would be wasted time. In the end I couldn’t be happier with the decision to go. Rick & Mickey gave me a great price on my car and more importantly they applied zero pressure and 100% down to earth friendliness and professionalism throughout the whole process. As someone who’s bought cars largely through CarMax and Craigslist to avoid high pressure sales, the folks at Tonkin Nissan renewed my faith in the dealership experience and have earned my loyalty. Long distance as it may be. Thanks again to Rick, Mickey, Casey and the whole gang.

We have bought 2 brand new cars from this dealership and it has become the first place we look when we need another car. They are a 1^st class operation with great prices. Will continue to do business with them.

I took my wife’s Nissan Rogue into the service department for some routine maintenance and to trouble shoot a transmission problem we had been having on a long road trip. The service department was quick and courteous. Chad from service called me multiple times throughout the day while I had the complimentary loaner to update me on progress and ask questions about my preference for specific mechanical interventions. Nothing was done or extras added that I didn’t want, no hidden fees or costs, and I was informed of all prices prior to action.
I have been jaded toward having work done at dealerships and have had less than satisfactory experiences at OTHER dealerships in the past. But all things considered, I had a pleasant, albeit unexpected, enjoyable experience with Wilsonville Nissan.

They provide great services for me every times! They even went above and beyond on my birthday! Great and timely services.

After making a few attempts to purchase my first newish car I had become apprehensive to follow through with is and had reserved myself to finishing life out with my old ’97 Nissan Pick-​up. But then I went here and met Jay and Micky, they took me out on a test drive with a car I fell in love with. The buying process after that was quick and painless. I am happy to be a part of the Tonkin family now and will be going there first with my next vehicle purchase.

I’ve had my license for a decade, but have never owned a car. Finally ended up needing one quite urgently for work, so I went looking for cars.
Went into the dealership with a decent idea of what I wanted, but the sales manager that helped me (Jay Palacio) found me a much better car, with way more features than I expected to get for the price. A quick test drive and I knew I was getting the car.
Other than some minor hiccups with the loan process and such, the experience was very positive and I drove away in my 2011 Nissan Altima SL an extremely happy customer.
Everyone there was friendly, but Jay really went above and beyond to explain things about the car and answered any questions I had. He was also very patient when I had a delay in getting some documentation needed for the sales.
I was worried I’d deal with the stereotypical pushy dealership salesman but very glad to experience otherwise. Would definitely use them again for my next car.

Worthless dealership. I spent 20 minutes on the showroom floor waiting for someone, anyone. 3 fellas standing in an office over a computer. I saw the receptionist glance up at me. All I wanted to do is buy a new pickup.
I don’t understand why my spouse likes this place. She says Good service department. Well I won’t have to worry about that.

Way better service than I ever expected buying a used car! The salesperson, David, was super helpful and very easy to get along with. Found me the perfect car right away and laid out some easy numbers for me.
Jay, the financial adviser set me all up very quickly and I was out the door in no time. Fast forward to two days later, I get a call from Jay who had continued to work on my loan after I had left, lowered my interest rate by 2.24 percent, and secured an awesome warranty for me! I mean, I had already purchased the vehicle, they could have just let it be, but they continued to work for me after I had left! Awesome guys! Great service. Went way above and beyond. What more could you ask for?
