–Consistency (of exercise over a long period of time, practice of movement skills and strength training, and following of sound nutritional decisions)

As a business, Constant Forward Progress specializes in:

–General full body strength training and conditioning for small groups of 3 – 8 individuals

–Semi-​private personal training for 1 – 3 individuals

–One-​on-​one personal training for a single individual

–Kettlebell training for those looking to gain skills or potentially attain the HKC, RKC, or SFG designations

–Nutrition Coaching via the Precision Nutrition lean eating program

–An emphasis on teaching proper technique and safety first and foremost.

History

Established in 2014.

Constant Forward Progress was established in August of 2014 with one goal in mind: to provide sustainable group fitness and personal training solutions at a reasonable price.

CFP began as a philosophy of life and lifting. Injuries derailed Bret’s athletic career, but also brought with them direction, culminating in a training philosophy that was uncompromising in its focus on proper technique, safety instruction, and focus on quality before quantity; mobility and stability before strength.

Founded upon the very philosophy for which it was named, Constant Forward Progress is designed to provide long term, lasting solutions via client education and empowerment.

CFP is a multi-​faceted business. In addition to providing personal training services in person, a steadily growing video library, as well as online personal training is available via con​stant​for​ward​progress​.com.

Constant Forward Progress is a philosophy of life and training. By focusing on what we can do, we can live a life that is constantly moving in the right direction: forward.

Bret Hamilton, owner and founder of CFP, attended George Fox University for five years (2006 – 2011), earning a BS in Exercise Science and an MA in Teaching, graduating with honors. He became a personal trainer soon after graduating and quickly learned it was his true calling.

Bret says, «My passion is helping people find, or reclaim their joy for movement. Most of my clients don’t initially come to me seeking better movement (looking better in the mirror is the most common goal). But, once the results start rolling in, they come to appreciate what better movement does for them over the course of their training, because they are training not only to look better and be stronger, but for their future independence as well.
