Building Blocks Early Learning Center serves three– to five-​year-​old children and their families. We welcome children of all abilities and backgrounds. Our children are given the opportunity to create, solve problems and develop deeper thinking skills while playing and working in a safe and loving environment. Each class incorporates a combination of active movement, individual and group activities, teacher instruction, snack time and outdoor play. We balance active play and quiet activities. Children have many opportunities to discover their own abilities to problem solve and create as they construct knowledge and strength their social skills. We serve families in Wilsonville, Canby and the surrounding communities.

We are currently enrolling for the 2013 – 2014 school year. Classes are filling up, so contact us today to schedule a visit and learn more about our preschool. For the 2013 Summer, Building Blocks will also be offering Summer Symposium Sessions in July and August.

History

Established in 2002.

Building Blocks has been Gina’s dream since her eldest son was four years old. He is now 28. Gina says, «I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to grow this school starting over 10 years ago. It has been nothing but pure joy growing our school. I had no idea that I could experience Heaven on earth!»

Gina Hieb is the founder and head teacher at Building Blocks Early Learning Center. She has a masters in Early Childhood Education from Portland State University and has successfully operated Building Blocks for 10 years. For Gina, the educational community she has created is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.
