Cody specializes in private Photography Workshops/​Tours in Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. As a former Yellowstone Park Ranger, he has a vast knowledge of the Natural History of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Not only will you learn lots about the wildlife and the parks, but you will come away from the tour with lots of technical and artistic photography instruction. Cody is also a commercial photographer – that photographs Weddings, Ski, Mountain Sports, Food, Real Estate, Architecture, Mountain Biking, Road Biking, Climbing, Fishing, Resort Marketing and Western Fine Art/​Nature/​Wildlife

History

Established in 2001.

Cody began his professional photography career in Vail, Colorado and now lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He has been a commercial photographer in the ski and outdoor industry since 2001. He photographs everything from skiing, mountain biking, nature, wildlife and fishing to weddings and real estate. He has been teaching photography workshops and guiding photography tours in Grand Teton National Park for the past 6 years. In addition to shooting photographs, he also served as the Photo Editor at 4 outdoor industry magazines: Ski, Skiing, Backcountry, Alpinist.

Business Owner

Cody grew up outside the small town of Eureka, Kansas. He received a B.S. in Park and Natural Resource Management from Kansas State University, then moved to the Rocky Mountains where he has lived since 1996.

After college, while working as a Park Ranger for the National Park Service in Yellowstone National Park, Cody’s love for nature inspired his photography. His hobby became his career when he moved to Vail, Colorado in 1999.

Cody’s career has allowed him to photograph a wide variety of subjects ranging from ski resort marketing to fine art. He owned a gallery in Eagle, Colorado, where his Western Fine Art was displayed and now shows his work at Art Shows around the Rocky Mountain region. He was the photo editor for four major outdoor magazines: Backcountry, Alpinist, SKI and Skiing Magazines.

Cody now lives in Jackson Hole and continues to photograph nature, outdoor sports, wedding, and lifestyle photography. He conducts photography workshops in Grand Teton and Yellowstone.
