I really like this TJ Maxx. They have great selection, great prices, and great staff. I never wait in line because they keep things moving really quickly. The store is always clean and organized and I have found some great deals on purses! I check out the store every time I’m in the area!

We visit site today. It’s alright but is smaller than the one in Bedford. The place is clean and well organized. However, it lacked the Runway section. We would still visit again as the charm of these stores is finding what new and interesting items they have at the moment.

This is a pretty decent Tj Maxx. Their stock turns over pretty regularly, the store is kept clean, and the dressing rooms are well maintained. They also have an okay petites section, which is one of the only areas I really can shop from. It does sometimes get a bit dusty though, and the store itself isn’t as large as other locations. One warning: Since the front of the store is all windows and it faces west, it can be rough shopping by the front when the sun is starting to set. The light shines straight in, making it hard to see.

I know TJ Maxx. I was a Maxxinista before they started promoting the term… I have been to every TJ Maxx between Bangor, Maine to the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan and probably beyond(I am embarrassed to admit that). This is one of the only ones where several staff members remember me and I get VIP treatment. Could it be because I’m there once a week?! Anyway, stop by the jewelry counter, I’ve found great pieces(ruby bangle for $ 20!!!) and a lovely opal ring for my mum.

I find tons of great clothing at this store. I find lucky jeans fit me best, and they generally have several pairs styles of jeans available. Plus, other great clothing that is at an insanely discounted price. More times than not, if I visited a department store and bought the same name brand clothing at the store I’d spend $ 250 – 300 dollars compared to the $ 150 I’d spend at Tj Maxx. My only dislike about the place is that they have way too many pairs or short jeans, it’s disappointed. Oh ya, the company seems to have an issue with people credit card information getting hacked once in a while… That sucks.

* Not Bad * This is the closest TJ Maxx store to me, so I stop by once a month to see if I could find some good hot sauces, salsas, and other«gourmet» food. I typically buy their habanero hot sauces and Jardine salsas. Their extracts are a great value too. This store is like a thrift shop: you never know if you’ll find what you’re looking for, and some of their stuff is seasonal. This store is also like a liquidation store: they sell overstocked items at low prices. During one of my hot sauce hunts, I asked one of the store associates when their next shipment of hot sauces would be arriving. She told me that they get a truck load of deliveries every week, but they have no control of their order or inventory. Some of the aisles are a bit narrow, especially around the kitchenware, food, and clothing areas.(Yeah, this makes for a fun time when searching for your kids, who have run off somewhere inside the store.) Just make sure to drive the shopping cart carefully. * Good Selections * They have:(1) a great selection of clothing, cosmetics, and toys;(2) a small kitchenware selection,(3) a small«gourmet» food selection; and(4) a good cookware selection. They also sell knick knacks by the cashiers. Lately, I have not had much luck getting the brand of hot sauces I typically buy from them; it might be a seasonal thing, so I’ll wait until winter. * Bottom Line * Make a quick stop by if you’re in the area, but head to the bigger store in the Woburn Mall for better finds.

TJ Maxx is truly a hit or miss experience but it seems I have finally found a location that has such a huge selection and distinctive departments that it’s only hit or miss if you don’t look hard enough. I came here the other day in an attempt to find some career seperates and was pleasantly surprised to find several great items in that category and also some wonderful kids’ clothing. Think: a $ 5 printed blazer. The catch is a lot of these things need a tiny bit of tender loving care. My amazing blazer was button-less but was amazing otherwise. I’ll pay $ 5 for something that is easily fixed if the rest of it is quality, and this piece certainly was. This location also has a huge luggage and bag department with so many sizes and choices, and a fairly large men’s department too.

I’ve definitely been to better TJ Maxx locations. The Main Street location is very small. How small is it? Even the shopping carts are small. The aisles are pretty narrow – if you’ve pushed a cart down it, a cartless customer will have to suck their gut in to get by you. Oh. and let’s not forget the dustbunnies. I picked a blouse up off of a hanger and it fell. When I lifted it off the floor, it was covered in foul, grey dustbunnies. Oh, the horror! Their dressing room is a veritable trainwreck. It’s small, so all carts must be left outside. I brought garments in to try on that exceeded the 8-item limit. As the attendant took the remaining garments from me, I asked her to put them aside to ensure that no one would mistakenly take them. Five minutes later(no joke), I came out to exchange my unwanted items for those that remained. The dressing room attendant looked briefly at the rack and shrugged, informing me that my items were no longer there – they must have been put back out on the floor by another attendant, she said. She seemed quite indifferent, which made the situation all the more frustrating. The only saving grace was their selection of hair care products. I found a good shine serum for cheap. Otherwise, save yourself the trouble and take a trip up to Salem NH and visit the Marshall’s/Homegoods store. It’s larger, has a wider selection of items and is much cleaner – not to mention tax-free.

Probably the only great place to shop in town. It’s like all the other T.J. Maxx, hit or miss. I find great clothes here though. The clearance jewelry is always worth a look.
