Wilmington native and master stylist, Donnie Canady, opened Tanglez Salon & Spa in January 2009. Realizing that independent, locally owned businesses are essential to a vital local economy, Donnie and the entire staff at Tanglez appreciates your support and invites you to book your next appointment soon.

Donnie began his career in the beauty industry in 1982. As an ambitious new hairstylist he earned the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and Canada with platform Kenra artist, Robert Melton. In his travels he assisted the hosting of many educational, coloring, cutting and technique classes. After building his foundation as an advanced color and cutting specialist he managed numerous privately owned salons in Independence Mall in Wilmington NC. Donnie provides a family-​like environment to all his staff and clients. His dedication, warmth and encouragement implements the positive feel throughout the salon.
