Established in 1985.

This interior decorating business was started in 1985 by owner, Monique Barnum, as a Decorating Den franchise. In 2001, the business was renamed to Serenity Designs and became independently owned. The last 5 years or so, the business has specialized in Real Estate Home Staging, which now accounts for most of it’s business.

My educational background consists of a college degree in Mathematics from Kirkland College in Clinton, NY followed by a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University. Career experiences include: Software programming and consulting; Interior Design business owner and entrepreneur; Real Estate Agent; Real Estate Home Stager and business owner.
