Meet the Business Owner

Drew S.

Business Owner

Drew grew up in Williamsburg, Va. After graduating from James Madison University, he moved to Colorado where he was a ski instructor in Breckenridge. Two years later, Drew moved to Denver and began his classroom teaching career. After years in the classroom, he then attended a graduate program at the University of Denver where he also taught students. It is during this time that some former high school students contacted Drew about tutoring them in chemistry. He accepted and the rest is history, as they say.

After opening two office locations in Denver, the call of family (and the ocean) brought him back east where he is opening an office in Wilmington, NC.

Drew loves working with kids, loves teaching, and has a passion for helping students not only achieve greater academic success in their classes, but also become talented learners with a life-​long interest in learning itself. When he’s not working with students and families, you’ll find him active outside, often surfing.
