This grocery store is literally 5 minutes from my house, so I prefer to go here for the convenience. The prices are very fair, and they usually have a good inventory. However, my major complaint is that there are never enough lanes open. I stopped here Friday night, and there was 1 checkout lane open. There were 4 people in line. The self checkout was available, so I used that, as I only had a few items. I have had this complaint for years, so this time i decided to say something to the 3 employees standing at the customer service stations, right next to the self checkout. When i voiced my complaint, it was met with an attitude. I asked why on 4th of July weekend, they would not have more staff? There was no real response.

I agree: Long lines. self check out always slow and/or broken. If you have lots of spare time, go here.

Saturday night drama at the grocery store? No thanks. Not enough lines open.

I have to give it to Pathmark — a lot cheaper than Acme, and while not cheaper than Shop-Rite, better designed than Shop-Rite. Better selection than Zingos. Really no complaints, though, like most grocery stores, you have to watch how your order is rung up because mistakes are made. We live much closer to an Acme, but drive further to the Pathmark for the savings.

This is my «go-to» grocery store because it is convenient locally. Its a nice, average, grocery store.
