History

Established in 2002.

Nagy & Associates, P.A. (Nagy) was started in 2002 by David Nagy. He founded the business because he felt he could do a better job for clients than what was being provided at other firms. David noticed that many firms had deep-​rooted problems such as the selling of services that weren’t really necessary for clients, or a general disinterest in whether clients succeed or not. He even saw problems within CPA firms themselves, such as distrust and conflicting interests which crippled other firms ability to respond to the market place.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dave is the owner and manager of Nagy & Associates, P.A. He splits his time between managing the company and practicing accounting. As a manager, Dave spends time improving quality controls and ensuring the company’s services provide value to clients. This is done by having a disciplined attention to many different core business areas such as employee development, marketing, financial planning, and business operations. Dave’s practice areas are broad. Most of his experience has been in the area of business taxation, business consulting and coaching.

As the founder of the company and the son of an entrepreneur, Dave has a unique perspective that most accountants can’t provide. He can see things from the client’s point of view and is very good at problem solving and uncovering out-​of-​the-​box ideas. Dave routinely provides free reviews of past tax returns and almost always finds missing deductions and/​or methods to get clients bigger refunds.
