I sat at the bar watching the Eagles game and ordered a burger. 30 min later with a view into the kitchen and wondering how long this burger was going to take I noticed a small flame up on the grill. the cook was at the bar and I was going to tell him but he was busy making himself a drink and doing a shot. I tried to flag down bartender to let them know there was a small grill fire in the kitchen but to no avail. cook finally headed back to smoke filled kitchen and a few min later came out and asked how I wanted my burger cooked. ugh. I said medium. it finally came out chared burnt black. I was stunned that he served it to me. so… if you want something to drink and really crappy food and you got lots of time…

Can’t go higher than 3 stars because this is technically a «dive bar»… but a really good one. Ownership recently changed hands, and they’ve made changes all for the better. Service improved, it’s cleaner, and they’ve added some quality to beer on tap.
Our neighbourhood watering hole, my wife and I sometimes end up here when we’re whoopin’ it up like a couple of red necks on payday. A great place for an inexpensive drink and a generous pour. Friendly staff and always a fun and interesting cast of characters inside.
