Mission Statement

Lots of Love Cat Rescue was founded on the belief that no animal

should have to go hungry, be homeless or live in fear or pain.

Lots of Love Cat Rescue is a group of volunteer animal lovers whose

mission is to rescue, provide sanctuary, re-​home abandoned, stray

and neglected cats.

Our animals are examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, spayed

or neutered, to ensure the numbers of unwanted cats be kept to a

minimum and receive any and all medical treatment before they

are placed in carefully screened homes.

We are dedicated to finding permanent and loving families for

the homeless cats and are dedicated to providing the best service

possible to the animals in our care and the families who adopt

from us.

We take pride in adopting healthy animals and go to great lengths

to pair each pet with the perfect family.

We do not receive any funding from government agencies or

national animal welfare agencies. We are fortunate to have a

dedicated team of volunteers

I adopted my second cat from Lots of love about 2 months ago. It was a very fast adoption, I brought my kitty home within a week of contacting them!
King Tut (my new kitty) is the sweetest creature every and LOVES his new brother cat and vise versa. The reason I chose King Tut was because of the description given with his post on pet finder and the video Lots of Love included. I had to be sure I was choosing a cat that got along with others and though they have their sibling rivalries, they will cuddle and groom each other til the end of days. I don’t think I would have been as lucky if i went to the MSPCA or other shelter like that because the cats aren’t in a home environment to let their personalities shine. I truly believe the fostering aspect of Lots of Love is vital to choosing a cat (especially one that you are adding to a home with pets already).
Since adopting, I’ve had a few questions about past health concerns etc and I’ve gotten emails back almost immediately and the foster home has called me for updates as well. They definitely care a lot about their cats and the homes they are going to. The negative review in this posting is not accurate to the experience I was given.

I had called this agency about adopting a cat but got a voicemail message so I decided to email instead. In the email I specified that I was happy to come in and requested that they call me. They wrote back saying that I could only visit after my application was approved and they did not call me although their website states they do a phone interview. They simply said to fill out the application that was attached. I filled out the application and they apparently reviewed it, called my personal reference and then proceeded to reject me without ever talking on the phone with me. I thought they should treat people with some more respect if they claim to treat animals this way. They said their reasons for rejection are confidential but I fail to understand given I have subsequently been accepted at another shelter.
