Delicious food — super sandwiches, crispy hot fries, fabulous cole slaw. Quality ingredients well prepared. Even the tomatoes were good. Service was excellent and prices were fair. If we lived nearby we would be regulars.

Jezebel’s Eatery is a full service restaurant in the heart of Wilmington, VT. It’s located in an old historic building which looks exactly like you’d expect a restaurant in Vermont to look like. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant is not super fancy, but nor is it super dumpy. It falls somewhere in between. Like I mentioned it’s located in an old building(a former house) which I particularly appreciate being the history buff that I am. I enjoy the old world construction such as thick plank floors and post & beam framing. It’s very cool stuff to look at while waiting for your food. Their menu is quite extensive with a slight slant towards some Mediterranean dishes such as humas, wraps, falafels, and salads. They do offer burgers and believe it or not they also offer pizza. Yes they pretty much offer everything. I have no complaints with their food or their service. Because they offer a lot of items on their menu the most difficult part of your visit may be deciding what to order.

Hidden gem in wilmington. Great grilled cheese and burgers. New pizza place up in Dover is very good too.

Warm friendly place in town with great salads. I had the Athena salad with feta, roasted peppers, pesto and tortellini. D enjoyed the Cobb salad. Highly recommend.

The menu is full of great sandwiches and something for everyone. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable and made several suggestions. Our appetizer of hummus with pita chip was spot on.(we went back the next day and got an order of hummus to go).We were a party of four and we each ordered a different sandwich and all were awesome. The only issue we had was the abundance of fruit flies, they were bothersome and annoying. The fruit flies were enough of and issue to take it from 5 stars to three.

My girlfriends and I spent the weekend in Vermont and was told we had to have Jezebel’s at some point during our trip. Since our house was up the mountain we thought stopping for lunch on our way home back to New York was the best option. Jezebel’s a cute little quaint restaurant in the heart of Wilmington… this town totally looks like something in the movies. We sat outside because the fall weather was perfection. Of course, I had«the best grilled cheese.» It was seriously named that in the menu. It was a mixture of swiss, american, and cheddar(with added bacon 1.75 extra) on Tuscan bread. It was really good but definitely not the best like their menu claimed. I have had better. We were all very happy with our lunches. My only complaint was service. It was a little slow and when we asked a question about the beer menu(we are not from here) the waitress was a little snarky with her responses. It was a really bad start to a delicious lunch. We were very annoyed only making our drink selection that we almost left, but good thing we did not!

Been here for breakfast and lunch this week. Everything has been almost excellent. The French toast sandwich for breakfast, the mushroom bisque is amazing. The mountain man sandwich was great too. The only part that wasn’t quite excellent was the corned beef hash. Had a little too much vinegar for my taste. Seemed like the recipe could have called for a teaspoon and someone accidentally put in a tablespoon.

A wonderful evening Saturday, very sweet staff. Our waitress was very attentive and seemed so happy to be serving us, even as she got pretty busy being the only server on. We decided to go for burgers, juicy and delicious, great with mushroom and bacon! Love the beer choices. Left full and happy and will definitely be back.

Shockingly bad service! No one greeted us at the door, no ambient music playing, had to stick my head into the kitchen to ask for a table. Waitress was on a slow drip of something — there were only 3 tables in the restaurant and yet she couldn’t seem to get around to anyone in any kind of reasonable time frame. Then, when my wrap arrived, not only was there a LONGBLACKHAIR on the plate(I’m a blonde) but also an OLIVEPIT and a RUBBERBAND in the wrap!!! When I pointed this out to the waitress she removed the wrap and I had to wait another HOUR until a replacement salad was brought to the table. My husband’s scallops wrapped in bacon were quite underdone(eew) and when we were presented with an $ 85LUNCHBILL with no attempt to buy even a round of drinks, the waitress simply says — «well I took the wrap off the bill?» When I asked to speak with the manager, she told me she«only came by once in a while» and she«didn’t know when she would be in next!» I asked for the manager’s name and number to the restaurant which she not only did not know(had to ask someone in the kitchen) but was extremely reluctant to divulge. Total buzz kill dining experience…

Food was delicious — ordered the wild mushroom & brie soup(yummy) and the buffalo chicken salad(well presented & delicious). Comfort food, burgers, sandwiches, and salads on the menu. Décor was New England country & cozy. Service was slow even though place wasn’t full but to be fair the menu did state everything was to order so we should be patient :) Good value for the $

Brie and Mushroom bisque! Wonderful. Smallish serving, but you will be thankful because it is so good, you would eat too much if it! Rueben was very good — could use a but more saur kraut(I am a kraut fan!). Some people in our party had the wings and said they were very good — meaty! My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and he enjoyed it very much.

I enjoy Jezeble’s for their very nice selection of sandwiches that come with deliciously seasoned fries. It’s the only place around to get falafel and they make their own– very yummy. If you go for dinner and only get the expensive dinner menu, ask for the regular lunch menu and check out the unique sandwiches and soups. They usually have a few decent beers on tap and a good selection of VT spirits, if that’s your thing. I’ve usually gone mid-week when I’ve had a day off, so I haven’t run into the service woes some others have mentioned. Like other places in the area, it gets busy on the weekends, and if you’re coming from a big city, you sort of have to adjust your expectations about service in VT anyway, I think(speaking as someone who moved here from Boston and lived in NYC before that).

The food? Great. The service? Eh. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and were greeted by pushy hostess who seemed appalled when we asked to look at a menu before sitting down. We decided to stay anyway, and ended up enjoying a tasty meal. It’s worth mentioning, though, that our server seemed very dazed and unfriendly — and it looks like others have had similar experiences. Definitely recommend the turkey chili nachos, though!

Personally, bread pudding has to made in a certain way.. And this place had it.. the macaroons were ridiculous(in a great way)… and the pie was tart but sweet enough to balance out your palate. It doesn’t seem like a place for dessert from the street but looks are deceiving. We kinda just stumbled on to the place after dinner.. GREAT Find.

This place was SO good! I want to go back ASAP. I was in town for the weekend and someone recommended this place to me after I said I had a «healthy palate.» I have a feeling no matter what I said I liked to eat they would have recommended Jezebel’s because they have everything! Although my choice of «healthy» may be debatable, my date and I got a caesar salad and a black bean veggie burger and they were both fantastic and very fresh tasting. Particularly the homemade veggie burger which may have been the best ever! The French fries were yummy too. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was casual and very friendly. We loved it and hope to come back soon, maybe for dinner next time so we can try the mishroom soup!

Two stars is being generous. The blueberry muffin and pancake saved the day. Although we couldn’t order a banana or granola pancake because they ran out on a Saturday morning? For the meal had the awkward soggy huevos. Big cold tortilla and watery ingredients with too much sour cream. I could have made this dish better during college with my George foreman. There’s other options in the area — go elsewhere.

Yes, there was a time I waited over two hours for lunch, but it would appear reviews were heeded, and I have zero complaints about our breakfast this morning; and that’s what you want, right? …business owners who listen to their customers. Service was great, friendly, and efficient. Now, to the food. They say the pancakes are huge, and you should listen to them. About the size of a dinner plate, and delicious. Two was almost too much for me, but I finished them, because they were delicious, and they kept me full most of the day. A companion’s omelet and potatoes looked fresh and wonderful, as did the thick slices of toast that came with it. Oh, and this is very important! A small serving of *real* maple syrup is served with pancakes and french toast. So many times I’ve been annoyed by having to oder that specially in not only Vermont, but New England restaurants as a whole. Thank you, Jezebel’s for not making me ask for the real stuff in my home state.

After a string of disappointing meals at various diners, this was a breath of fresh air. We were staying near downtown, and found this place by chance on Unilocal. The reviews said it gets really crowded on a Saturday morning, but to our surprise(and relief!), there was barely anyone there. The menu is pretty basic, but the taste and flavors delivered are anything but normal. We ordered the corn beef hash, blueberry pancakes, spinach omelette, and the biscuits with gravy. When you can’t decide, why only choose one? Fluffy, Light, Creamy, Tender and Flavorful are words to describe these delicious meals. The spinach omelette was especially outstanding — the spinach was perfectly cooked; tender but not gritty. I hope to come back to this cute little town and try what is called their«Big Ass Cinnamon Rolls»!

We stumbled into this place and could not be happier. Breakfast is out of this world. My boyfriend would take a bite followed with a «yummmm». We had a veggie omelet. Cajun potatoes which ignited the«yummms» and fresh made jam were all amazing. We also had the pleasure of dining with Jackson(if you go you’ll know who I mean). We will definitely come back here every time we visit Wilmington.

I ducked into this place to escape from the cold snow. The place is cozy and cute, it was packed and seem like it probably is always that busy. I’ve heard great thing about their breakfast and brunch. But I was craving dessert and as much as the cakes and muffins looked delicious, I wanted ice cream. Out of all things to order while it’s freezing cold outside! I ordered some type of coffee chocolate chunk ice cream on a cone and it was ridiculously good while eating it in the middle of snowfall. The ice cream was a little pricey but it’s what you could expect from the area. The next time I’m in the area, I’m definitely going to try breakfast.
