Overall very good! Texas luau burger was cooked to perfection and salted caramel shakes are among the best in the state! Service was good and friendly, but it was a bit slow. However, the manager more than made up for it with a pair of coupons for free shakes or fries. They even offered to make my Mom’s burger a lettuce wrap since she’s watching carbs. This is how these sorts of restaurants should be run!

Tried this place for a quick bite based on Unilocalers feedback and wasn’t disappointed. I had the front porch and my husband had the salmon burger. The burgers were a little bland but the accoutrements made up for that. Fries were awesome. My husband got a side salad which was fresh. The atmosphere was really fun and fresh. I like the low key way you order and then help yourself and are basically left alone. I also like the décor. There was music but not too loud so you could enjoy conversion. Good time, good food.

I have been here twice and loved the burgers I ordered. My family and I are very hard critics on burgers. We can tell if the meat isn’t fresh. We highly dislike when restaurants get the burger temperature wrong. There have been many places where we order medium rare temperature and when we receive it, it’s obviously more towards medium well but they claimed it wasn’t. However, here although they initially ask if you want the temperature medium, every time I ordered my burger medium rare, it was cooked to perfection. The cashiers are always very pleasant and helpful if you all them for recommendations and feedback on certain burgers you are considering. The onion rings are great. They are nice and crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. The fries are not steak fries and very good as well. My fiancé loves the sweet potatoe waffle fries. The milkshakes are apparently very good. I never had one but our 10yr old has and she said it was delicious. They look very tasty and they have adult versions. Overall my family highly enjoys it here when we are in the mood for a great burger at a very fair price. We will definitely be back.

This is a great burger place. They have a wide variety of choices. My burger was huge. I got the sweet potato waffle fries. My friend got the blue cheese and caramelized onions burger. The caramelized onions were so delicious that I asked for a side of them. I will now put on every burger whether it comes on it or not. I also got the kitchen sink milkshake which was delicious. I also love how you order the food and then they bring to your table. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant is clean as well. I am going again.

If you’re not a huge red meat fan you’re in for a treat. My favorites here are the ahi tuna salad(I have dreams about the tuna), the turkey burger is unforgettable(not dry at all and flavorful) and the jalapeño ranch that goes with the delicious shoe string fries. I can eat an entire plate of shoe string fries with that ranch. I liked my shroom burger but it was just a bit greasy and didn’t taste that much of the sriracha. There are so many other interesting burgers on the menu that I want try. Snag a table, place your order up front, and a server will be up shortly with your food. Service is quick and friendly. The owner/manager is also really helpful and looks like a version of Calvin Harris(My male friend thought the same thing).

The Best burgers in Delaware and they have vegin burgers, seafood, and chicken or turkey burgers burgers all to select from and all fantastic. I’m a foody, the atmosphere isn’t grand but the food sure is grand. The salads are mouthwatering just to look at and yummy as well. Appetizers are more than fantastic the serve Ahi Tuna which I got to sample and let me tell you that was absolutely 5 stars even without the 5 star burgers. So what are you waiting for? Yes, go in for lunch, or for dinner. If you take a seat at the bar they’ll take your order, otherwise you have to go to the ordering window. I usually set at the bar, but I have also sat in the booths and not only that I brought a great group of my crochet ladies to this establishment. The CLAYMONTHAPPYHOOKERS, a crochet club and did we ever eat well. Kristen the mgr. waited on us and the service was quick, efficient and 5 star all the way from begining to end. We arived at 12:30PM and managed to eat our way thru bliss till near 3:00PM. A terrific place to take a group of your friends. Not on facebook or any social network so Kristen get this where it needs to go. Regarding best nights to go. All nights are grand IMHO. Catherine

This was my 2nd visit to Grub, the first being with a friend who was invited to a Unilocal elite event. So, this was my first real visit as a normal customer. Ambiance: very good, especially for being inside of a mall. It feels modern and fresh, and clean. I didn’t even realize its an order at the counter situation, it assumed it was table service. Service: very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Food: very good Prices: seem a little high to me, but they make EVERYTHING in house and its a fairly nice spot. so, i suppose prices are fair. We had the hippie chickpea burger, the only vegetarian burger on the menu. Also ordered the Ahi tuna salad and got tuna on the side(I am vegetarian, date was not [but almost!]) Also ordered the luau fries but with no meat. Chickpea burger: good and creatively different than your typical stand alone veggie burger on an otherwise meat heavy menu. They actually bothered to create a recipe and make it really good. its served on their fresh house made bun and is tasty w/the tabbouleh and special mayo and stuff. It came all alone though, so side salad or small serving of fries or anything. That struck me as a little odd, and looked kind of lonely on the plate. So take note – everything appears to be la carte, so to speak. The ahi tuna Salad was yummy tho maybe a little over dressed. I usually get dressing on the side but forgot. Great portion too. I cannot report on the actual tuna. The fries are delicious if you are into that sort of thing. I am kind of a purist but my date loved the pineapple and cheese and whatever else they put on that thing. Also a huge portion. Moral of the story: if you want some high end burger type stuff, check it out. the menu is full of interesting and creative burger plays. Bonus: FULLBAR. Even boozy milk shakes. Pro tip: the bar is full service. the rest of the place is order at the counter and they bring it to you at your table.

I am impressed by Grub Burger Bar! I was craving a burger and normally I’d just run up to Red Robin and call it a day but I remembered this spot when I was walking thru Concord Mall looking for Chick fil a a few weeks ago. The ingredients are truly of high quality. I love the bun used on my Lockhart Legend and I could actually taste the freshness of panko bread crumbs used in the batter for the onion rings. I also had samples at the bar of two of the spiked shakes, one mint chocolate and the other I can’t remember but had rocky road — like ingredients. Both were very tasty and not overpowered by alcohol. Easily this place is 3 or 4 steps above Red Robin for very reasonable prices given the quality of the ingredients. This is a nice low key spot for a casual date night or even just a special treat for the family.

Excellent food and fast service. Today we got splurged and got: The Harlem Tenders, Ahi Tuna, the Salted Caramel shake, and a Luau Burger. The chicken tenders were incredibly moist, tender, and full of flavor. Clearly thoughtfully marinated and freshly breaded. Well executed. The Ahi Tuna was not as good as I remembered. It seemed like it had been sitting overnight. The flavor of the crust was a bit too intensely peppery and it had lost it’s sear. Still, the tuna did taste great. The soy sesame dressing it comes with is truly excellent. Tasted great on the tenders too. The Salted Caramel shake was sooooo good. Fresh handspun Ice Cream with a caramel bite and very nice briny sea salt finish that did not overpower. They top it off with an obscene amount of fresh whipped cream. This was really delicious. The Luau Burger was good. It came a bit more cooked than I asked(Well vs Med-Rare) and the pulled pork was just a bit incorrectly braised, maintaining a bit too much sticky bite. The beef is a tasty blend and the BBQ and pineapple condiments played nicely with the beef. The brioche bun was buttery, soft, and fresh. Good burger all around but could be stepped up. I love the table service system and friendly waitstaff. Keep it up, Grub!

The atmosphere is a little confusing. You walk in to what appears to be a seated dinning experience, but you actually are greeted and told to head to the counter to place your order or you can sit at the bar and be served. The pricing is a little high for a burger joint, but I wasn’t disappointed. I would have liked for the burgers to come with fries rather than a separate order, but this works if you go with a friend. The ghost burger was great it you like spicy, the loaded skinny fries are amazing, and they even spike the shakes… YUM!

If someone were to tell me hey, let’s go eat some burgers at a small shopping mall in Wilmington, I would automatically raise an eyebrow and say no thanks. Luckily this time around, I just happened to be in the area so we stopped by because we had a coupon(yay coupons!). Now don’t let the location of this place deter you like it almost did to me. Yes, it’s a chain INSIDE of a mall(seriously though, Grub Burger, why are you here?), but this place does CRAFT burgers and does them WELL. I have tried about 8 of their burgers at this point and none have disappointed! They have a diverse menu for the pescetarian to the meat-etarian, ranging from ahi tuna to barbecue style onion rings burger. The best part? EVERYTHING is made in house! From their ground beef and salmon patties, to their ketchup and bread, everything is made in-house for around $ 9 per burger. Not in the mood for burgers? They also have a fully stocked bar, with the option to spike their speciality milkshakes. Want potato chips or ice cream? How about potato chips IN your ice cream milkshake? Their shakes sound unconventional, but never disappoint. Sure, throw some alcohol in there as well if you’d like.

Came here yesterday afternoon for a late lunch. If you haven’t read any of the reviews, you walk in, they hand you a menu and you get in line to order and pay. Then you seat yourselves and they bring the food out to you. Our wait time for food was roughly 15 minutes, which is about right for a normal sit down restaurant. On to the food. Their french fries are super thin cut and super addicting. Be sure to try the jalapeño ranch sauce, which has the taste of jalapeño but is not spicy. Probably the best fries I’ve had but I Iike thin cut. Sweet potato fries were extremely yummy as well, perfect amount of saltiness that really brought out the sweetness, also very well fried. Grub burger could make a killing just off their fries. I had the salmon burger(can’t remember the exact name). I love red meat, almost always order some form of a blue cheese burger. But I came thehere previously for a Unilocal event and got to sample the salmon burger and it was amazing. Order it, you will not regret it. It’s literally a large cut off salmon, NOT a ground mashup with salmon in it. Their beef patties taste great as well, my fiancé ordered one of their regular burgers and it was great. I think it’s a higher quality burger and higher quality food in general compared to places like shake shack or five guys which are similar in price. The only difference is that you have to wait about 10 – 15 minutes for your food instead of 5 – 10 minutes. Grub burger also has a much larger menu with plenty of options. Grub burger is by far my favorite place for a burger experience(fries, shake, etc). Try the salmon burger!

New favorite burger place! Checked Unilocal for any decent spots after I finished shopping at tax free Best Buy in Delaware. Wasn’t sure what I was in the mood for, and then I saw a place called Grub Burger pop up in the reviews. A burger sounds great to me! Let’s check it out! Grub Burger was connected to the Concord Mall. I think the space it was in used to be a Ruby Tuesday. There was lots of seating in this place, with mostly high tops. There was a bar right when you walk in. I headed towards the back to the counter and checked out their menu. The young man working the counter was very nice and told me what his favorites off of the menu were. Everything look really good. I don’t go out to Delaware often and figured I would order two different burgers and bring the leftovers home. They both came out and the party in my mouth was just getting ready to start. *note* they use 7 oz patties. The first burger I tried was the Ghost Burger — Pepper Jack cheese, ghost chili sauce, grilled jalapeños, lettuce and tomato(see picture). They give you the option to try it inferno style with an ice cream chaser for $ 1 more. I LOVE torturing myself with spicy foods so I went for it. The burger was cooked perfectly. Really juicy and full of flavor. It was missing the spice though. I know what ghost pepper spice tastes like, and there was none in it. I went back up to the counter and mentioned that I didn’t taste any. They gave me a bunch of it on the side(see picture). I brought it back to the table and dipped my burger in it. SWOOOOOOOSH! There was the spice! Oh yeah! Thats what I’m talking about! It was dark and it was hot! Perfect! I’m glad that they gave me a shooter of vanilla ice cream with it. It definitely helped cool things down. Right now its been a few hours since I’ve eaten it, and I can feel the fire starting in my stomach. Tomorrow is gonna SUCK! lol :) The second burger I had was the Lockhart Legend — Applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, housemade Dr Pepper BBQ sauce, topped with two hand battered onion rings and sliced dill pickles(see picture). It was really tasty too. Unfortunately I was pretty full from the first burger and I still had the burn in my mouth from the inferno ghost pepper sauce, so I didn’t taste it as much as I could have without my taste sensors being burnt out lol. The burger and bacon was cooked perfectly. The onion rings were good, and the bun was soft. Perfect burger. I definitely suggest giving this place a try, especially if you are a burger person. Forget 5 Guys. Forget the others. This is definitely my new favorite burger spot. 4 stars!

The only meat I eat is fish so finding a pretty awesome burger place is nearly impossible. This one is nearly perfect. And don’t worry if you’re into beef or turkey, as you might expect this place is designed with you guys in mind. There are tons of options. They have a great veggie burger that can be substituted into any of their varieties. I know these days you can find some sort of veggie burger at just about any restaurant that’s even slightly concerned about their customers, but often that means they just toss a frozen MorningStar veggie burger on the grill and provide all the taste and flavor you might expect from reheating gas station food. Not here. These chickpea & eggplant veggie burgers tasted fresh and delicious. They come by default with some red pepper mayo, arugula and goat cheese. If that doesn’t strike your fancy you can easily swap the veggie burger into any of the other varieties. Fresh veggie burgers are great, but the real star of the show was the availability of fish! The Burger of the Sea(Ahi Tuna) was my wife’s strong favorite, while I really loved the Swinin’ Up Stream Burger(Salmon). Both were fantastic and full of flavor. The ahi tuna burger had a wonderful combination of ginger and wasabi-teriyaki that gave the burger a delightful Asian flare. The salmon burger had a lovely lime aoili that suited the avocado nicely. It’s honestly really hard to pick a favorite between the two. Quality. There’s also a lovely ahi tuna starter and the sweet potato waffle fries are some of the best! The place has a «trendy» vibe going for it. Think Chipotle’s cold steel style. There’s also a nice bar that seems to have a pretty good vibe to it, but is perhaps a little too close to the front windows. When I’m inhaling my food and chugging down a pint of beer it’s a little disconcerting to look up and see a bus full of school children gawking… but that probably says more about me and my table manners than Grub Burger Bar. Thanks to Grub Burger Bar for giving us these options! As fellow pescatarians and/or vegetarians know it’s rare to be given a choice at most burger places, it’s either all beef or nothing. Most burger places don’t give us a second thought. Here you not only get options, but they’re tackled just as seriously as anything else on the menu. Delicious.

Went back for a second visit. Had the special Mac N Cheeseburger which is only available this month. Burger was cooked perfect medium as requested. Mac n cheese had bacon in it and overall great flavor. Hope they consider serving the mac n cheese as a side. Then topped off with a cheese sauce. It was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Got the onion rings again which were very good. Leslie at the bar is the BEST. Warm and friendly and just makes you feel right at home. Shes a keeper! Highly recommend getting there this month for the mac n cheeseburger

First time ever im able to eat Vegetarian Gluten Free burger! This happens almost never. It tastes good! You can get a side of sweet potato fries or even tabbouleh… I tried the Napa salad and it was very very good. Glad to know such place is around in Delaware, as there’s barely anything new and trendy and eclectic there… This place brings a fresh vibe with food choices for all kinds of eaters… Will be back!

I recently traveled Delaware for work. A few people mentioned this restaurant because of their milkshakes. Went in not expecting much from a burger place and I must admit I was blown away. Not only was the food absolutely amazing but Katie(manager) went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. She is such an asset to your company. Her drive and determination to give customers a legendary experience is something that is so rare to see nowadays. It was refreshing to meet someone who had such passion in the food industry. My only complaint is that there are no locations near New Jersey. I would definitely travel to Delaware again to visit this restaurant.

New hip burger bar around the corner in Concord Mall. Gives the sad food court a lift and a bite to eat when Chik-Fil-A is closed on Sunday. Self seating at the full service bar or go right ahead and order at the register and take a seat either for to-go or sit down. You get a number card so the server knows the order goes to you. They have interesting burger combinations and in my opinion out of place ahi tuna choosings. The Lockhart Legend burger is good but I’d get the overly tangy Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce on the side. The onion rings are great and if you get a drink, saves you a little under a dollar than ordering separate. Unlimited refills at the soda station. Total came to about $ 13 for a meal. I’ve always been conflicted with establishments that don’t have table service but they bring the food to you after you order and clean up after you since there isn’t a designated trash can/area for the utensils and plates. It’s a nice place for a date where you don’t have to think about splitting the bill and order your own and save a few bucks on tip I guess.

When I heard that Grub Burger was replacing Ruby Tuesday in Concord Mall, I jokingly said that they’d better be better than Ruby Tuesday. The bar is low but it’s still there. I tried them the week of their opening. Obviously, they’re going to take some time to get into the swing of things. Behind the counter, they were still going over some procedures and I had to remind the cashier to give me a drink cup. Hopefully, things will go more smoothly soon. For a burger joint, Grub Burger is expensive! Even compared to Smashburger, prices are higher. A burger is $ 8 on average. Making it a combo adds more than $ 4 to the bill! I had the OMG Burger this time and I thought it was pretty good, although probably not $ 7.95 good. On the plus side, the staff were very eager to help when I had questions and they stopped by the table to check if everything was good. As for the dining area, acoustics are not great. There is a lot of noise from the bar area. Interior décor is a horrible clash of industrial piping, pebbled walls, and weird light fixtures. Their chairs are fairly uncomfortable, so I should try the table with the bench seat next time. So overall, it’s a mixed review. And yes, I do miss Ruby Tuesday.
