Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurant

Service was friendly but slow. It took forever to get our food, and it was wrong and or missing things when it arrived. I’m not a huge Frisch’s fan and this visit did nothing to change my mind on that.

You can’t go wrong with Frisch’s. There is a good variety and the salad bar is always clean. The staff is always quick and very attentive. My husband loves eating there for that reason and has even told management how hard the staff works. It is our go-​to place when we know we are in a hurry

I’m an ‘old’ fan of Frisch’s from back in the day, and truth be told, the quality of food is NOT
the same as it was then, not only at Frisch’s but all the other fast food restaurants. I truly believe that it is the quality of the meats. Younger generations don’t have a point of reference, as far as ‘what the quality ‘real’ food Should’ taste like… but boomers do… That said, if, on rare occasions, I do break down and decide to eat fast food, I order the fish and not the beef (although back in the day, Frisch’s big boy was ummm uummm good (as was Wendys, Micky D’s Arbys) So, if Frisch’s really wanted to increase sales, bring back the quality of the food. I also ate at this Wilmington location a few days ago, and the service was outstanding. I Ordered the fish dinner and was pleased, however the onion rings, were NOT fresh and looked and tasted as if they’d been under the heat lamp. So… Frisch’s management, if you can hear me… bring back the freshness, cook to order, and if possible suggest to your Corp headquarters, to change the quality of the beef products (and no, don’t cook to order ONLY at the customer’s request, cook to order for EVERY customer. So… Continue your outstanding service, change your product (food)… and your sales will increase tremendously. I think many ‘boomer folks’ return to Frisch’s (Wendy’s McD’s, Burgar King) for nostalgia reasons, and expecting the quality of food to be the same, and disappointingly it’s not…

Just an update. The store manager called me and said he wanted to make things right. I just want all Frisch’s to do a great job. Most of them have this same problems. If we let them know when they do good or bad maybe they will try harder. So send then your comments… Thanks Unilocal for this service.

The best. Good food at a good price with good service. Can’t do much better than that.
