Duck & Dive Pub is a full service pub. We have 14 draft bers on tap, full wine and liquor. Hosting FREE live music 364 days a year with NEVER a cover charge. Home to the Duck Darters (dart league) Brotherhood of Beam & Whiskey Club. Pool table, darts, & mega touch. We are a local friendly place where the bartenders take time to know our name. Outdoor courtyard, benches out front, and plenty of space inside. We have commonly been referred to as home away form home or you living room! Daily specials, pot luck dinners, free wing fridays, and plenty more!

History

Established in 2009.

Duck & Dive Pub (English cockney rhyme and slang meaning to «hide») was established in 2009. Two local business owners, one with years of bar ownership the other years of owning business joined forces to create a relaxing English style pub. With over 55 craft, domestic, import, and micro beers, full liquor and wine makes this pub a full service bar. Well known locally for the live music nightly.

This is the place anyone can go and feel comfortable. The bartenders are very attentive and the service is fast. After a few times of going, you’ll feel like «one of the crowd» as everyone welcomes you. They have live music EVERY night of the week and there is NEVER a cover to get in. They also offer TV throughout the place, so you can keep up with your favorite sport. You can challenge your friends to a game of pool Don’t forget to check out the courtyard on the side. Beautiful! This is a must for a good night out in downtown Wilmington. You can go dressed to the 9’s or in a sweatshirt and jeans. Awesome. Just awesome.

Thirsty Thursday is one of my favorite days of the week, and I head down to the Duck on most Thursdays I find myself with a free evening.
This past Thursday they had a selection of $ 3 beers, $ 4.00 Sake Bombs, $ 4.00 Red Bull bombs and my favorite is always the $ 5.00 ALL THINGS BEAM special. Mary always has good tunes playing when she is behind the bar.

Great dive bar. Visiting Wilmington on a Monday. People have been hanging out every time we pass it. Go for a beer around 7 & have a great time. Great bartender, friendly people & great vibe.

This place was recommended to us a good place to get a drink, and we had a good time here. They had live music when we were in there on Saturday night.
Prior to the band arriving I was playing music on the touchtunes. I guess playing country music is a no-​no here. Apparently if you want to hear country music you have to go to the bar called City Limits, which is funny because that is the one place we were told not to go to. Oh well. Still had a good time, and I ended up getting a free beer coozie.

Duck and Dive is a great bar to take your pup and have a drink. I went on a Sunday and the $ 4.50 Bloody Mary’s were pretty good especially for the price. There were so many dogs there all with great behavior. They have seats out front, plenty inside as well as a side patio section. There are a great number of beers on tap – just be sure to look around the bar as they are not all together. Staff is very friendly and keeps empties at a minimum by checking tables often.

Always my first stop when in Wilmington. This place is listed as a pub, which I guess technically it is, but it’s more a dive. Comfortable couches, good beer, a pool table… what else can you ask for. I’ve never really spent more than an hour in here, but it’s mostly because it’s my first stop when getting into town before crawling to other places. Any place that you can get a MIckey’s is good by me!
