Business Owner

Dr. Don Blackburn founded Delaware Vision Academy in May 2005 to provide the community with a family practice that specializes in behavioral optometric services and patient education.

Dr. Blackburn received his Doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1994. He is an active member of the NeuroOptometric Rehabilitation Association and the Clinical Director of «Opening Eyes» of Special Olympics since 2001. Dr. Blackburn is also the Delaware Leader for the InfantSEE® program, a member of the Brookside Lions Club and the Sight for Students Program.
