You are so right about the office. They wouldn’t know customer service or how to conduct business in professional way if it fell on them. I’m sure it was my wife and I texting dave about finishing our (and many others) that he was talking about. So disappointed with this company it not funny. Let the word be told
We contracted with Creative Edge Pools almost a year ago, the project was supposed to be completed in 3 months. We did make the pool bigger but it was communicated to us by the owner, David, on-​site that the pool could be completed a few weeks after the originally discussed date. We are about 8 – 9 months into the project. Throughout the project, there has been no shows, late shows, arriving with half the stock to complete the items that were planned for completion that day. There has been communication issues with the office and downright rude behavior from the office with absolutely no customer service skills what so ever. They just don’t care about their clients that pay $ 80K for a pool.
The work on the pool has not been monitored on-​site which brought up issues with the stairs being installed totally out of spec with what was agreed upon. They tried fixing it but did a VERY terrible and unsatisfactory job and forgot (no attention to detail) to install tiles on the stairs before the plaster went in. The plaster job was botched in a bunch of places. There is unconnected live electrical wires at the pool equipment. There are missing and leaking valves. The pool was started up without strainers in the returns which made the pump clog up and run out of water and was running dry for god knows how long??? What company does that. We are now concerned about the equipment. At this point the pool is not completed and we are frustrated at the lack of professionalism and customer satisfactory from this company. We always got along Great with Dave and his Brother Steve on-​site. It wasn’t until the first and second dealing with the «office» that made me just today, put in a compliant with the BBB and update the reviews that I read before selecting them to do the project that the Office is so lacking of any kind of business skill, customer service skill or any common decency skill what so ever. It’s funny, I told the office today that I would never recommend their company to anybody, they replied back with «We wouldn’t ask you too». Well guess what, it’s the age of the internet, you don’t have to ask. My recommendation is STAY CLEAR, FAR clear. One side note to add, we were texting David all the things that were wrong with the pool, he would never get back to us, a couple times here and there. SO they came up with this lie that his phone was broken and wasn’t getting texts or phones calls. Today they got mad at me because I am staying on them to get the pool that I paid for finished and said that they blocked my wife and I’s number because we were harassing him. Guess what Creative Edge, do the right thing, finish what you started, SHOW UP WHEN YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO, learn how to deal with your customers, do the correct work in the time line that you promise and nobody will have to YELL at you or blow up your phone because they are frustrated with the way they are treated, talked to and never called back!!!
Note to Office: You don’t have to ask, I will tell

Do not use this company if you don’t want to be stuck babysitting. We had a pool installed and there were multiple issues with it (wrong tile installed on stairs after the correct tile was already around edging of pool, we had 2 lights in our contract and only 1 was installed and it isn’t even centered, the tile on the stairs is not centered, plumbing was done wrong and had to be fixed, our designer that sold us the pool took off on us and would hide when there was an issue, etc. etc. etc.
We signed our contract on 5÷26÷2014 and gave them the deposit that day. Work began 6÷24÷2014 and we were told we would be swimming in the pool by mid August 2014. Fast forward to over a year from the start of the project, July 2^nd 2015 that was the FIRST time the pool was able to be used and the kicker is WE HAD AN EXISTING HOLE FROM OUR PREVIOUS POOL! Even with the wrong tile on the stairs (which looks like cheap crap and I hate) Dave the owner was going to make light of our situation and fix it in the Fall of 2015 so we could enjoy our pool for the summer. After the conversation we had with him on July 2^nd that was the last we heard from him and his company. He walked away from the final payment due. Never once was a payment late or a check bounced. The final payment of $ 1,4055 Dave agreed we would not make until the pool was done to our liking, which obviously it still is not.
Not only did Dave walk away from money and his client, he left a pool unfinished. We were never even contacted about the pool closing that was included in our pool purchase (when you are spending $ 51,000 it should be included). When I commented on their Facebook page about the pool closing as they were advertising them last fall, they then blocked me from commenting on their Facebook page. Real childish.
In the end it was more convenient for Creative Edge to just walk away from the job than fix their mistakes like a good company would do. I was conned by their amazing Facebook reviews but it turns out they are all done by Dave’s daughters, family and friends. Please message me if you need any supporting documents on this. We have every text, email, and contact log saved. Do your research and go with another company.

David and his team were extremely well organized and thorough during every step of the pool design and building process. David listened to what we wanted and did not pressure us to look beyond the parameters we set. His advice and guidance through this investment was invaluable. His team’s attention to detail, knowledge, and no-​pressure approach were greatly appreciated. We can’t imagine building a pool with anyone but David and his team.
