They would not deliver 1.5 miles away from their restaurant. The guy on the phone was very rude and used foul language. They really know how to treat a customer. And their pizza sucks. You won’t miss much by scrolling to the next pizza place. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Yay pizza! And beer! My favorite pizza place in the area. Service is friendly. Sandwiches are good. The kids love it.

If you want a casual restaurant for a quick eat, go here. My buddies and I were passing through and stopped by this local favorite. They have a large menu and offer pizza by the slice. The pizza was tasty and big. The salads were just okay. They have enough indoor and outdoor seating.

Got my food delivered to my job and pizza looks beautiful, super large pizza as well. Large buffalo chicken pizza for 15 bucks. Also 2 orders of fries. Got it for 22 bucks. So worth it

I ordered the cheese pizza and chicken salad for my staff at Wilmington. Delivery was prompt. Service was great. Chicken salad was awesome but pizza was greasy and disgusting.

I stopped in during Wilmington St Patrick’s day for the first time. The slice selection was lacking, and the slices we got were rather mediocre. Perhaps I’m just not in North Jersey anymore… There are a lot of menu options, the pizza is cheap, and the building looks cool, so I’m hoping I caught them on a bad night. I hope to see more options behind the counter next time!

This was my first time at Caio. My family ordered a large tomato and a large half plain half pepperoni pizza. The pizza, was pretty average and I don’t think I’d order it again. Sauce to cheese ratio was a bit weak… I couldn’t taste much sauce. The dough was too chewy for my liking. Now onto the tomato pie… yum! Sauce was delicious, and I’d definitely order it again. As for the price, I paid $ 30 for 2 pies. A bit steep if you ask me. So I ask myself, will I be back? Maybe, but only for the tomato pie! $ 30 though? Maybe Caio has a bogo night, or perhaps they can price the average pizza more appropriately.

The pizza has a good flavor but everything else presents a problem. The squirrel answering the phone always messes up my order and the last time I visited, will be my last time visiting. Squirrelly wasn’t there but food poison certainly was. I was down for 48 hours after I ate 2 slices of my large pizza. I have my 1 year old a few bites and he has diarrhea as well. Disgusting!

I left a great review for ciao previously. However, after my last visit I’m not so sure I’ll be back which is disappointing since I’ve been coming since 2008. The pizza I received on Saturday was sad. It wasn’t cooked thorough and the chicken was in huge chunks on the pizza instead of shredded like it used to be. It kept falling of the pizza. I assume they got a new pizza cook. Very sad. Hopefully the owner reads this and has a talk with the cooks.

Me’h. Nothing wrong with the food, but nothing stands out. Pizza can be under done. Steaks can be dry and light. Limited delivery area. Gallucio’s around the corner is a better option.

This place reminds me of a pizza joint in Trastevere, in Rome, that had lines out the door with locals. I personally think this is an authentic Napoli pizza and I haven’t seen this in very many places, including New York. I’ve only had the cheese, can’t speak to any other pies. But these are very thin crust, which we love and prefer. If you are used to doughy crusts, you won’t like this place. super kid friendly, perfect for days when food is the last thing on your mind, but you need to feed the fam.

Excellent thin crust pizza. Not much seating inside and that is why I am rating it 4 stars instead of 5. Pricing was very affordable and their is a good selection of items on the menu. Highly recommended and will be back.

I feel they must be resting on some old laurels no one remembers they had. That or people who grow up and never leave Delaware don’t understand what real pizza should be. Quite a few locals suggested trying it. After 3 tries, I don’t think I’ll be going back. The pizza is sub-par, and attempting to get worse. I feel they are abusing the great location they have by putting out this inferior product, and I think it’s insulting pizza makers and lovers everywhere. Such a disappointment. This is by no means a judgement on the quality of the owners or people as humans, only on their ability to produce a pizza worth paying for, or eating.

Again a good experience. If your looking for good pizza definitely want to stop here. The slice(s) and a beer combo are the perfect dinner. One tip: I’d stick to the pizza/calzones/Stromboli. I’ve had subs and salads there and they are good, but not great. The pizza is great.

«A-Ok» suits Ciao’s perfectly. A very cool location in Trolley Square section of Wilmington, DE. I found the staff at Ciao’s to be extremely pleasant. From taking my order on the phone to the personal interaction while in the shop, the staff was as friendly as they come. They make a decent pie here. A great blend of cheese and sauce with some fresh pepperoni made this a winner. Ciao’s also does a great job of making condiments easily accessible and available. The only challenge here is the parking. Due to the shape of the building which is very cool, the dining are is relatively small.

I came here for the first time on a whim in search of lunch. I was immediately impressed with how friendly and polite the employees are, and how easily they answered my questions. I settled on the meat lovers calzone($ 8) and it was brought hot and fresh to my table. I loved the quality of the dough(not toughie chewy) and the use of real ricotta inside. While eating, I noticed that the emotes frequently greeted customers by name and even knew some of their orders without asking. It made me feel good that they genuinely care about their business. I’ll be back!

I want to just preface this review by saying, I’m so damn addicted to the pizza that I’m not sure if I have had anything else. I’m also reviewing delivery, since I only went in once for pickup. And you know what? It was freaking pleasant going in there, on a Friday, and they were so in tune with their customers that it didn’t even feel busy. And when I stepped outside for a cigarette… they brought it out to me. Seriously? Chivalry is not dead. Points for you, Ciao’s. So here’s my review: If I had known this place was in Trolley before I moved into the Square, I would have moved a month earlier. I love you, Ciao’s. Did you get my Valentine’s Day card?! My marriage proposal? I’m ready to move in and start a life together, Ciao’s! Get their pizza.
